Character History
Childhood
Xerxes was born into a loving family on Carida 2,000 BBY. He loved his family more than life itself and together they would frequent the swoop races held there. At night, Xerxes and his older sister Aleya would sneak back to the swoop track and watch the stars exchanging stories of how they would one day fly away and become the greates swoop racers ever. His Father was a trainer at the academy and was a hard but fair man. As a child Xerxes always dreamed of entering the Academy and becoming like his Father. Thus the first fourteen years of his life passed blissfully.
Goodbye
The fateful day came upon Xerxes fourteenth birthday. He was to be enrolled in the Carida Academy for the four year program. Xerxes was so excited he barely touched the wonderful cake his mother had made for him. That night Xerxes packed up his belongings and said goodbye to his family. His Father told Xerxes that he would see him from time to time but that he would not see his mother or Aleeya for at least a year. As he turned to leave Aleeya put her hand on his shouler and gave him her lucky amulet. Xerxes gave her one last hug as his Father beckoned him to come. Xerxes didn't sleep a wink that first night.
The Academy
Life at the Academy was rough, only the strongest and smartest advanced. Xerxes found military life to be wonderful. Xerxes loved the hardwork and discipline that the military had to offer. The year went by so fast that Xerxes barely even noticed that he had grown taller. After the graduation he was given a week reprieve before he would have to be back for another year. During that time he found out that his sister was dating a man by the name of Dejonn. Xerxes was happy for his sister and wished her well. Two years later Xerxes was promoted to Seargent and given command of a squad of eight men. During this time his Aleya married Dejonn and Xerxes was not able to attend the wedding. One year later Xerxes graduated in the top five percent of his class and was finally able to return to his home.
Disaster
When Xerxes returned home he found things in a disastrous state. His Father and Mother were found murdered in their home with multiple laser burns all over his body. Xerxes was infuriated and vowed to exact revenge on whoever had committed the deed. Later that week Xerxes was on his way to Aleya's house when he saw Dejonn quickly jump into a landspeeder and take off. Xerxes entered the house and called out for Aleya. Upon searching the house he found her body in the bedroom bloodied and bruised. The marks around her neck identified that she was strangled and also who had done it. Xerxes suspected that Dejonn had killed his parents as well, but why he could not imagine.
Revenge
Xerxes searched for Dejonn and found that he had stolen a freighter and left Carida. Xerxes made an oath in blood over his families graves that he would exact revenge on Dejonn. Xerxes sold all his families possession's except for the amulet that Aleya had given him. He bought a Aurek fighter and christened it Honor's Sake. He spent the next year searching for Dejonn and doing minor bounty hunter work and teaming up with other bounty hunters on minor jobs to fund his search. Finally his lucky break came he found Dejonn on the Empress Teta system. Xerxes hunted Dejonn down to the Iron Citadel and spent his remaining resources to infiltrate the place. Unfortunately Dejonn had been warned and set a trap for Xerxes. As he made his way through a series of sub-level hallways, the trap was unleashed two transparent walls slammed down on both sides of the hallway trapping Xerxes inside. Dejonn showed up to taunt Xerxes admitting to the murder of his family and laughed at Xerxes failure. Xerxes became enraged and unknowingly use the Force to crush Dejonn's heart. Even though he had succeeded in killing Dejonn his rage had subsided and he was trapped in an airtight trap. Slowly he sufficated to death and fell into blissfull slumber.
Resurrection
In 20 ABY Xerxes was resurrected by a minuscule Krath Cult called the "Life Givers". They had reached a peak of 50 members when the ten of the leaders discovered a way to resurrect the dead. Immediately they thought of the late Emperor Palpatine, but once thinking it through they decided to perfect the ritual on a non-important corpse first. It was the will of the Force that that day an initiate in the Life Givers would stumble across Xerxes preserved body. The Krath Pontifex was thrilled and called together his Epis. Together they started to chant the dark words that would bring about the life of the corpse. Once the fools had completed the dark ritual they discovered the draw back of using the power. The life force was sucked from them and transferred to Xerxes giving him life.
A New Beginning
Xerxes awoke dazed and confused in a chamber that he did not recognize. He removed the robes of the Pontifex and clothed himself in them. He exited the chamber to find a Krath Priest standing outside the door. The Priest discovered what happened and felt the Force potential in Xerxes. The Priest knowing that the cult was weak and pitiful helped Xerxes contact the Dark Brotherhood. Xerxes was accepted as an initiate in House Dinaari of Taldryan. From there he went on to take many Shadow Academy courses. He quickly became involved with the Antei Combat Center and trained under Seraine Erinyes Tenama. Xerxes was assigned to the battle team Dark Fire Brigade and helped repel the invasion of the Warlord Lanar.
