Mandeo Pyxis is a Sith Novice from Clan Naga Sadow. Mandeo was born on the planet; Mandalore in 20 ABY to a ruthless assassin Carzack Queltin and a Mandalorian Warrior Alaei DarkBurst. His parents split after his birth and he was trained by his father for the first 10 years of his life in the harsh deserts of Tatooine as part of his training regiment. He was excluded from society for 10 years of his young life and became anti-social unable to communicate to anyone besides his father, becoming isolated and distant to even his mother. His father discovered he was Force-Sensitive at age 7 during an incident in which a huge ledge fell on top of Carzack and Mandeo drawing on his pain and fear, was able to lift it off of his father saving his legs. He began teaching him in the ways of the Force, strengthening him greatly. At age 15 he left his father and joined the Brotherhood, going to Clan Naga Sadow.
