Old Version
The screenshots here are from an extremely old version of mIRC, 6.16. The current version is 7.29, which has a radically different interface in some areas.

I know, this is literally just a dump of the old guide you can get to by selecting it from the communications option above.
It's being put here so that the equivalent link on the new site can point somewhere until we have a redesigned IRC Basics course ready to go to replace it outright (as the notes for the course serve the same purpose as this guide.) --Solari (talk) 21:53, 8 July 2013 (MDT)
