Character Sheet

Physical Description

Siscol is a small, easily missed Verpine. His massive black eyes almost outscale his angular head, and his fairly long antennae droop low past his shoulders. The faded green exoskeleton covering his body is smooth with nearly flat ridges.

General Aspects

Have You Tried Turning It Off And On Again?

The bulk of Siscol’s time is spent answering calls for a tech support line, though one might say he’s a bit overqualified for it. Siscol stays up to date on technological updates, builds computers for fun, and knows how everything at his fingertips operates on an upper and lower programmatic level. Despite desiring greater opportunity, however, he’s always willing to help other people to better understand and resolve issues with their technology.

Look At All That Student Debt

Siscol has multiple degrees and certifications, all regarding computer science, programming, and various software development languages. Unfortunately, he’s also swimming in debt, and willing to work in any job necessary to dig himself out of it. He may not have the fanciest tech job in the galaxy, but Siscol is wholly committed to his work, for his sake and, evidently, the sake of everyone else, as well.

Personality Aspects

The Hero We Need, But Don’t Deserve

Siscol has found himself in a strange and faulty place. His work machines, his fellow employees, and even his employers are unreliable at best. Well, as far as Sisco is concerned, that just won’t do. When he’s not picking up the slack of all the other desk jockeys in his office, he’s made a habit of fixing and replacing machines one at a time, rewriting and reorganizing his workplace’s outdated software, and in general making the company more functional. And since his manager told him not to after the first one, he’s done so discreetly, behind everyone’s backs. Eh, who needs credit anyway, when things are better all around?

Screw You Guys, I’m Staying Here

At the end of the day, when people head home, go out to eat, and throw parties, Siscol remains at work. Perhaps it’s because he needs a place to sleep, and his desk chair is soft enough; maybe his consistent workaholic lifestyle will help him pay off all of his other expenses eventually; or it might be possible he just wants to make a difference. Besides, all the computers are here, and people don’t make for good companions, anyway.

Combat Aspects

It’s Always Swordfish

Although his intentions are always good, the most dangerous skill in Siscol’s repertoire is slicing. Okay, maybe he hasn’t taught himself to hack into corporate networks yet, but he can handle even a risky tech operation under heavy pressure, if required. Maybe. He’d rather not, though.

You Want Me To Break My Arm At It?

Apart from maybe using his tech skills to maybe do something useful in the moment, Siscol has virtually no use in combat. He is a small and frail insectoid who would more likely break his own arm punching someone than cause any real damage. Fights are bad, okay?

  • On rare occasions when no work is happening or spare parts are available, fancies a good video game.
