Character History

High Republic Era

Stellavox, once a reviled killer known for consuming her victims whole, carries a past shrouded in aliases and whispered tales of her merciless deeds. She would lure her victims in, disarm them with a false sense of security, and consume them alive and whole, earning her monikers for her appetite like "The Glutton of Glee Anselm," "The Voracious One of Vandor," and "The Connoisseur of Coruscant." Her notoriety extended to the very edges of the Outer Rim where she was known as the "Cannibal of the Core" and "The Eater of the Inner Rim." She was eventually apprehended by the Jedi Order who sentenced her to exile on a remote, far-off world where she lived in isolation for centuries, her hunger ever-present but unfulfilled. Over the centuries, she transformed, renouncing her cannibalistic ways. Her metamorphosis was as profound as it was unexpected, and she emerged from seclusion under a new identity, a self-chosen moniker that would come to define her—Stellavox.

Her return to the galaxy at large was gradual, her voice heard first on minor pirate frequencies before gaining a small but ardent following. It remains a mystery how and when she escaped her exile, and she herself has never provided a concrete account.

Some believed she was released from her exile, granted clemency by the Jedi, while others suggest the fall of the Jedi and the subsequent rise of the Empire provided her with an opportunity to slip back into the wider galaxy. Yet, there are those who insist she never truly broke free from her imprisonment, that her broadcasts are a manifestation of her solitude-induced madness, and her supposed freedom is an illusion.

Upon her reemergence, the glutton that once terrorized the galaxy had seemingly vanished. Of the few individuals who could recall her for the killer she once was, most had either passed away or were well into their twilight years. For all intents and purposes, her past was a closed chapter, remembered only in the dusty annals of forgotten history. Stellavox, as she now called herself, was a blank slate, her previous aliases and nefarious acts lost to the mists of time.
