Obelisk Force Powers

Rage

Dark Mettle

Prerequisites:

  • Third Rite (EQ1 - EQ4)
  • Obelisk Order or Grand Master

Through sheer focus, the morale and fighting spirit of the Obelisk are amplified in conflict. This imparts an accuracy of mind that allows the user virtual perfection in the performance of feats that they might not normally be adept in. This power is of short duration, usually less than three minutes and is devastating to their connection to the Force when the power has resolved.

Bloodlust

Prerequisites:

  • Mastery (DA - DP)
  • Obelisk Order or Grand Master
  • Force power: Dark Mettle, 5 points

This is the ability of the Obelisk to turn their allied forces into virtual berserkers. Physical attributes are not bolstered, but the recipient's forced state of bloodlust enhances their offensive ability while weakening their defense.

Battle Rage

Prerequisites:

  • Grand Mastery (GM only)
  • Force power: Battle Rage, 5 points

This is the advanced form of Bloodlust allowing a Grand Master to turn their allied forces into a raging company of killers. Unlike Bloodlust, recipients of this power's effect see their physical attributes significantly bolstered.

Drain Will

Drain Will

Prerequisites:

  • Third Rite (EQ1 - EQ4)
  • Obelisk Order or Grand Master

The ability to reduce a single enemy's will to fight or oppose in battle as well as in other areas such as negotiation. Unlike Mind Trick, Drain Will siphons a target's resistance through the Force rather than relying on tricking a weak mind.

Mass Drain Will

Prerequisites:

  • Mastery (DA - DP)
  • Obelisk Order or Grand Master
  • Force power: Drain Will, 5 points

The ability to reduce the will of an enemy force to fight or create opposition in large scale battles.

Destruction of Will

Prerequisites:

  • Grand Mastery (GM only)
  • Force power: Mass Drain Will, 5 points

This perfection of Mass Drain Will utterly destroys the will of an enemy force to fight or oppose.

Ensnare

Dark Side Snare

Prerequisites:

  • Third Rite (EQ1 - EQ4)
  • Obelisk Order or Grand Master

This ability allows an Obelisk practitioner to summon dark energy that can wrap around a target and ensnare it. The lattice of dark energy can then effectively sever the connection between the Force and the trapped target, continuously sapping the target's strength.

Dark Side Web

Prerequisites:

  • Mastery (DA - DP)
  • Obelisk Order or Grand Master
  • Force power: Dark Side Snare, 5 points

This high-level variant of Dark Side Snare allows an Obelisk practitioner to summon a shimmering net of dark energy capable of slicing through anything it touches. This energy web can be wrapped around a victim and constricted until it rends the victim to shreds.

Dark Side Labyrinth

Prerequisites:

  • Grand Mastery (GM only)
  • Force power: Dark Side Web, 5 points

The Grand Master variant of Dark Side Web allows the user to summon a shimmering net of dark energy capable of slicing through anything it touches. This web can be wrapped around multiple victims and constricted until it slices them to shreds.

Augmentation

Force Body

Prerequisites:

  • Third Rite (EQ1 - EQ4)
  • Obelisk Order or Grand Master

Allows a Dark Jedi to use his physical body to fuel the Dark Side of the Force. Tapping into one's physical being to power his feats, this technique is severely physically draining on the user.

Force Weapon

Prerequisites:

  • Mastery (DA - DP)
  • Obelisk Order or Grand Master
  • Force power: Force Body, 5 points

The ability of the Obelisk to temporarily enhance a weapon's strength. Common swords and other weapons are able to parry lightsabers while under the effects of this power.

Force Augmentation

Prerequisites:

  • Grand Mastery (GM only)
  • Force power: Force Weapon, 5 points

The ability to infuse the Grand Master's body with the raw power of the Force. A Grand Master is capable of using their body as a living weapon, enhancing every aspect of their strength and agility.

Alter Image

Alter Image I

Prerequisites:

  • Third Rite (EQ1 - EQ4)
  • Obelisk Order or Grand Master

Basic emulation is possible for a few minutes, getting most details correct. Holorecordings show the facade rather than the truth.

Alter Image II

Prerequisites:

  • Mastery (DA - DP)
  • Obelisk Order or Grand Master
  • Force power: Alter Image I, 5 points

Detailed emulation is possible for hours, and with a sample of the target's DNA, even biometric scanners can be fooled.

Alter Image III

Prerequisites:

  • Grand Mastery (GM only)
  • Force power: Alter Image II, 5 points

The emulation is so complete and detailed that children could be fathered with the false DNA. This facade can be kept up for days.
