Kyle Warhawk was born after the Rise of the Empire. Identified as being Force Sensitive as an infant he was spirited away along The Path for hiding. During this time he was trained as a Padawan and was eventually Knighted. As an adult he crossed the path of Kamjin "Maverick" Lap'lamiz. The two dueled and Kyle lost.
Instead of being killed, Kamjin took him into his service. During this time Kyle was introduced to and eventually succumbed to the Dark Side of the Force.
After the departure of Kya Lap'lamiz with Kamjin's children Kyle was dispatched by Kamjin to train his children in the ways of the Force. While Kyle was forced to hide his Dark Side nature he nevertheless was able to influence the children's training. This allowed Kamjin to keep tabs on his family from afar.
When Komilia ran away from home as a teenager, Kyle was the one who ensured a Mandalorian would find her and take care of her. When Rohan desired to meet his Father and attempt to reconcile, Kyle was the one who encouraged the boy and helped arrange a contact to bring Rohan to Kamjin. All of this Kyle did at great personal risk to himself.
