Forum Tribune (T:Forum)—The Forum Tribune was responsible for the administration, development and editing of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood Forums. The Forum was long established as a medium for communication and competition, and the Forum Tribune must work with Dark Brotherhood members to ensure that the information stays organized and accessible. In addition, the Tribune and his staff became the primary administrators of the Forum. The Tribune's general duties included:


  • Responsible for the development, organization, and maintenance of the Forum
  • Works with members to ensure content is appropriate for the Forum
  • Acts as Administrator over the Forum

Specific Forum Tribune Duties

Administration

  • Moderated all accounts for adhering to procedure, ensuring that members use their DJB names as their Forum Handles
  • Moderated, locks and flags topics as needed.
  • Addressed vandals and spammers by issuing appropriate warnings and instituting observance measures
  • When appropriate, moved and/or deleted topics and banned and/or deleted user accounts
  • Hosted and monitored the 'New Member Help' subforum for new member questions.

Staff

  • Developed and maintains standards for members of the Forum staff
  • Filled staff roles, asking for applications when needed
  • Ensured consistent communication with staff at all times
  • Ensured staff remains on task
  • Assigned roles to staff members so as best to achieve desired results

Other

  • Occasionally created small competitions for the Brotherhood to participate in
  • Helped to answer member questions and solve Forum issues
  • Served as a mediator in solving problems and conflicts involving the Forum
