History
The planet of Ashas Ree is located in the Sith Worlds Region of the Outer Rim Territories. The planet served as a major trade hub for the Ancient Sith Empire due to its close proximity to the Kamat Aegit and Zorfe Trete hyperlanes. The high level of trade resulted in significant development and population increases to support trade to Khar Delba and other nearby planets.
During the Great Hyperspace War, the Sith Lord Garu brought the holocron of King Addas to his temple on Ashas Ree. Shortly after, Garu would die and the holocron would be lost to time. 300 years later, the fallen Jedi Freedon Nadd arrived on Ashas Ree and discovered the lost holocron. The holocron provided Nadd his initial training in the Sith arts and heralded his rise to becoming the Dark Lord of the Sith.
In 36 ABY, the One Sith conducted initial incursions on the planet of Ashas Ree. The expedition sought out the two locations of Lord Garu's temple and a Dark Side nexus associated with Freedon Nadd. The expeditions have failed to produce results and the One Sith have assumed positions in space preparing for an eventual return to the planets surface.
Geography
Ashas Ree is an oxygen rich planet with diverse geography. Tropical and subtropical grasslands, savannas, and shrub lands dominate the landscape. Polar ice caps frame the north and south poles of the planet.
The planet is littered with ancient ruins associated with the ancient Sith Empire and the Sith Emperor's Empire.

The Temple of the Sith Lord Garu
Garu was a garish and flamboyant Sith Lord who reveled in the ornate trappings his position afforded him. Designed by Garu personally, his temple was carved from green black stone and covered in intricate Sith Runes. The interior of the temple once housed grand tapestries, artifacts, priceless works of art, and storehouses of precious gems. Over the years the temple's luster faded as the Dark Side infested the structure. Due to the overbearing Dark Side omnipresence, the temple has remained free of most looting and several chambers remain unexplored.
Freedon Nadd's Dark Side Nexus
Krath Sorcerers have reported a Dark Side nexus associated with Freedon Nadd upon the planet of Ashas Ree. The sorcerers indicated the nexus has recently become active and associate its presence with the One Sith's efforts to find artifacts on Ashas Ree.
The One Sith
Captain Jrep Roeo
CPT Roeo is a former New Republic Naval Captain who was recruited by the One Sith to organize their naval operations. Roeo was a competent officer with the NR, but was reduced in rank and later discharged for brutalizing his crew and using excessive force during police actions.
Commanding a flotilla consisting of a Bulwark Mark III, two CR90 Corvettes, and a mix matched group of fighters, Roeo has established a defensive position in near orbit of Ashas Ree. Roeo has further strengthened his position by utilizing a modified ETR 3 Escort to lay anti starship and capital starship mines.
The One Sith have left a military flotilla to protect Ashas Ree and hold positions in near orbit of the planet. A Bulwark Mark III, two CR90 Corvettes, and a mix matched group of star fighters patrol the planet. A beta class ETR 3 escort, modified for mine laying, has dropped anti-starfighter and anti-capital ship mines in flanking positions to the fleet.
