| Xan's upbringing was a very quiet, fortunate one. His parents made quite a comfortable amount of money, so Xan really had no issues to worry about. In general, Xan spent his mornings reading through books dealing with war strategies and swordsmanship, and spent his afternoons practicing the very same techniques he had read earlier that morning. Xan was always anxiously awaiting his father to come home from work as he was his sparring partner...and posed quite a significant challenge compared to the tree he often practiced his techniques on.
