Character History

Like most of his brethren, Vicar was born in a clutch on Dosh with 5 clutch mates. Unlike most he had an unusual coloring. His scales were a blue so dark as to be almost black, and his eyes were a burnished gold instead of the typical orange.

By the time he was a single year old, he had strangled and devoured three of them in their sleep. At this point he was removed, not for the devourings which was normal for Trandoshans, but because he had obviously tortured them first.

As he grew Vicar showed all the normal aptitudes for a youngling of his kind. This was inspite of the fact that he was shorter than the average Trandoshan, and lighter as well. He found as he grew what he lacked in strength he made up for with increased quickness.

He lived as he was taught following the path laid out by the Trandoshan's goddess, the Scorekeeper. By the time he was 13 he had three Wookiee pelts to his name, one a rare silverback wookiee. His fascination with torture continued apace as well.

It was not unknown for Vicar to fatally wound his prey, then leave it to die slowly. He would often watch how the creature reacted once it was clear to them they were infact dying. As soon as they gave in to that knowledge, Vicar would end it, having learned as much as he was going to from that particular prey.

At the age of fifteen, the age of adulthood, his parents gifted him with a old, practically derelict, Theta-class T-2c shuttle. It's weapons were stripped out, the shield generator badly damaged, and the sublight engines barely functioned but it was Vicar's.

To provide himself with funds Vicar joined a slaver crew and made a tidy sum in the traffic of sentient beings. He was particularly good at keeping the taken cargo compliant (watching someone die slowly does that to some folks) though one run in which both Mon Calamari and Rodians were taken has left him with a dislike of physically touching either species.

Once he could afford it Vicar repaired his shuttle as much as he could, installed a decent array of weapons, repaired the sublight engings, and brought the shield generators back to full power. This was done on the belief he didn't need top-end weapons, so long as his shields lasted longer than his prey's.

With this he set out for better and more interesting prey than mere slaves. Like the famous Bossk he wanted to be a bounty hunter, and like any cold-blooded creature he knew patience. Starting with small jobs, Vicar always took the ones where dead was an option. Vicar preferred to kill his prey, not capture it alive. This would be his personal choice even when alive paid a higher bounty.
