Character History

Born 13 ABY, Vega Usale was raised by a Shaevalian handmaiden to the former Queen of Theed on Naboo and a Zabrak starship parts dealer. Left home to pursue his dream of leaving Naboo and becoming a great starfighter pilot. Instead, however, he ended up on Nar Shaddaa as a common street thug and met an old Weequay named Sesh that taught him how to survive, wield a blade, fight, shoot, and most importantly, fly a starfighter. Later, while he was adjusted to life on Nar Shaddaa, he was told by Sesh about force sensitive people and he realized becuase he was so adept at learning, Vega could be a force sensitive. Later that same day, Sesh was supposed to pay for his ship that he borrowed money for from a Hutt, but couldn't pay, so he was killed for it. But, earlier Sesh told Vega to leave to Coruscant to find a new life better than on Nar Shaddaa, so he went to the dock to try and get to a ship and was ambushed by mercs in an attempt to get the money owed to them. The mercs beat him until Vega felt as though he had some inner power to help him and force pushed two of them into each other and used force lightning on the third one. As they ran, Vega discovered he was really a force user and took Sesh's ship, the Vera, and flew around the galaxy looking to develop his dark side powers to get revenge and become a great dark jedi. His search came to an end when he discovered some dark jedi from the Shadow Academy and stayed with the brotherhood ever since.

Physical Attributes

Although most Shaevalians tend to not stray away from the homeworld, Vega's mother hopped a cargo transport and made her way to Naboo to raise a family free from the militaristic regime of Shaevalis Prime and married a Zabrak starship parts dealer, so Vega has good and bad traits of both races. Vega gained the height, tan skin, long life, strength, endurance and bone density from the Shaevalian side of him and he gained the dark red hair from the mix of the two races, but he has the two horns on his forehead, the green eyes, great loyalty, resiliance to pain and mental stress, the dual hearts for extra endurance and his facial markings exclusively from the Zabrak side of him. He also had a bad reaction to the mix becuase although he has superior bone density, his bones are not as strong as other full blooded Shaevalians (As for his cybernetic right arm, it got crushed in an impromptu ejection from his ship, but that's another story) and his dual hearts, if exerted too much, could cuase a fatal arithmia to either one. But, all in all, he got the best of both species and is generally a good fighter and a grand warrior.

Imperial Service

Along the journey to find the Dark Brotherhood, about 29 ABY Vega decided to join the Imperial Remnant as a starting point to find a place to hone his skills as a soldier and a fighter pilot and not just work on his physical skill. At the time the Remnant was recovering from the loss of so many lives and ships in the Vong War and Vega was assigned to the Imperial Star Destroyer Nemesis as a fire control Ensign after completing his training at the academy and was there until he realized that there were not many things going for the Remnant a few months in, so he went AWOL, as a lack of morale led to this decision, but before he left the Nemesis he stole his friend, a protocol droid named Theta One.

Trivia

Vega Usale's creator is an awesome 17 year old named Elmo who has a star wars obsession. Vega's ship is a Jedi Starfighter that was rebuilt from the early Clone War era. The ship needed repairs to its shields, weapons, and hyperdrive, but now it works like new.

Why does she get a blaster, and I don't?
