Brief History

I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but grew up and attended High School in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania a Philadelphia suburb home to the largest shopping complex in the United States. Following High School in 1998 I enlisted in the United States Army and left in 2001. While serving I met my husband.

College and Beyond

I attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania where I received a BA in Anthropology and went on to do Archaeology fieldwork, including an excavation of Valley Forge National Park, the highlight of my career so far, that and an excavation of a Mesolithic and medieval site located in a peat bog in North-east England. From 2006-2007 I was living and studying in Newcastle-upon-Tyne a city in North-east England attending Newcastle University. Here I earned a MA in Archaeological Practice. Following Grad school I found work as an Archaeologist in the States and has taught an undergraduate cultural anthropology course. My specialty is Cultural Resource Management, Prehistoric, and Environmental Archaeology of North America and Great Britain.

Currently I reside in the Philadelphia Suburb of Malvern with my husband of 10 years.

Star Wars and the DJB

I was hooked on Star Wars at the age of five when my dad showed my younger brother and I episode 4. Since the first time watching Darth Vader on screen and after seeing the three originals dozens of times I became a Star Wars fan for life. I joined the Dark Jedi Brotherhood in 2006 when I was looking for an online Star Wars club dedicated to the Dark side and Dark Jedi, it also happened following my first play through of Knights of the Old Republic. I was fascinated by the Sith from the game and the Prequel movies. I also wanted to be apart of a club that was more than just a SW club but had multiple activities. Writing fiction, being part of a clan, the ACC, and the Shadow Academy appealed to me and still keeps me here today. Though I left to concentrate on grad school I came back and now enjoy the club even more, and since coming back I have been reading Star wars books and playing more Star Wars games.

Miscellaneous

Besides Star Wars I am an avid fan of the Dune novels and have read all six of Frank Herbert's Dune novels and the last two books in the story by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Andersen, now I am into the House prequel books. Elements of Dune have been introduced into my DB character and fiction. Outside Star Wars and the DJB, I am a Scuba Diver, amateur astronomer, and enjoys going to museums and attending anthropology/archaeology lectures, also I am always reading about Ancient History. I am also a gamer playing various games on my PC and PS3, my husband also games and likes SW but he is not as crazy about it as I am.
