Umbra Arx, or Shadow Fortress translated into English, is the main base and operations center for the Kunian Battleteam Exar's Shadow. It was designed mainly by Anochiir, a Tetrarch of the team, with some assistance from Aedile Dismal Visutor al'Tor.

Dormitories

These almost basic quarters house the battle team members of Exar's Shadow. Each member has in their quarters, a fireplace to fight off the cold nights, a desk, and a mattress. Lighting is done by rope lights in every room except one. The Tetrarch's quarters are constantly lit by candles. There are 15 dormitory rooms total.

Training Rooms

These training rooms are used during any and every hour of the day. Members are encouraged to fight with each other with blunted weapons or the use of non-lethal fighting against each other. Fights to first blood are frequent and thus leaves stains on the mats and walls. Weapons of every shape and size can be found here.

Meditation Chambers

The key to the Force is meditation; through such we become stronger in it. These chambers are to be used frequently. There are three meditation chambers total. There are two chambers for the team members (segregated to male and female) and the Tetrarch's own personal meditation chamber attached to his office.

Library

The Library of Umbra Arx is currently under contruction. This room is the second largest room in the base, only to the main hall. This is where meeting are held and studies are kept up with.

Tetrarch's Office

"In Umbra Arx, my word is law, regardless of rank or position. This is my home, you all are guests in it."

The Tetrarch's office is a bleak and dismal place. Not many would wish to enter here of their own free will. There is only one member who is free to come and go without knocking and that is Anochiir's Dark Hand Aabsdu di Plagia Dupar al'Tor. Everyone else must knock and be summoned before ever thinking about entering this office. Inside the office however are Anochiir's trophies. His medal case hangs on the wall in his office as well as his first saber. His multitude of weaponry can be see behind his desk in a glass case hung on the wall behind him.
