Revision as of 05:37, 27 April 2009

Is this being used for a specific purpose? We already have templates for the three orders and elders... why do we need another? --Shadow Taldrya 23:55, 25 April 2009 (MDT)

Nevermind... it looks cooler than the others. --Shadow Taldrya 00:00, 26 April 2009 (MDT)
And Slagar made this template work for all 3 of the Orders with just one template. That is a win in my book. Fewer templates to maintain in the long run. --Orv Dessrx 00:02, 26 April 2009 (MDT)
Which will be a lot less confusing for future newbs too. However, a few things I think would make it look a bit better: bold the heading text (I like bold headings), lose the different colors to the fields, and maybe change "type" to "order" so it's even less confusing as to what it's asking for. Then maybe we can go about changing all the pages to this. Just a suggestion. --Shadow Taldrya 00:10, 26 April 2009 (MDT)
The big thing on this one is that it's going to do all the character templates, including NPC's and Jedi, hence "type" instead of "order". I did add a note on the thing as to what options there are for "type", and then there's the list of type designations and their corresponding colors. Also, as a bonus I've got it set up so that for Sith, Krath, and Obelisk it will automatically categorize the page as in "DJB Characters". With Jedi and NPC it will automatically categorize them as NPC's. I did however make a tag not mentioned on the implemenetation section that only appears in the template called JediPC that allows the four non-NPC categorized Jedi to categorize as "DJB Characters". - 6430 14:28, 26 April 2009 (MDT)

Note

I approve this new template, but in the future please run it by me first. thanks --Tron 18:47, 26 April 2009 (MDT)
