Thrawn is the type to do everything personally given the chance. He did the same thing with Mara Jade, although I realize she was the Emperor's Hand and Vladet was just a Special Operations pilot. I don't think its far fetched - the story itself is original and aside from one hour with Thrawn, there is no other interaction with a famous Star Wars character aside from one minute with Pellaeon and going against Wraith Squadron on Ession. It's no big deal for me to change it, so I'll leave it up to you. [[User:Vladimir|Vladimir]]

* Given your reasoning I suppose it's acceptable, though I'd probably tone it down a bit. This reads like the characters became best friends and became roommates. -- [[User:Kaine Mandaala|Kaine Mandaala]]

Questionable: Imperial Entanglements?

Getting stopped by the Imperials is fine, but Thrawn? And being personally questioned by the famed alien Admiral? -- Kaine Mandaala

I was debating the meeting with Thrawn when I came up with this character history nearly a year ago, and figured it was plausible enough. With the Imperial Navy gaining strength rapidly under the Chiss Grand Admiral, a callout to all "rogue" Imperials seemed feasible. Meeting with Thrawn directly makes sense since Thrawn's Corellian advisary (Garm bel Iblis) was giving him trouble in the past and with Vlad being Corellian, he could pick up some ideas of how to understand Corellian psychology a bit better.

Vladimir
