Taldryan Expansionary Force

Template:Bending The Taldryan Expansionary Forces (TalEx) is the unified military branches of House Taldryan. This unified institution consists of the Taldryan Army, Taldryan Navy, Taldryan Intelligence Directorate, and Taldryan Logistics Division. The Expansionary Forces are overseen by the Taldryan Strategic Operations Council, chaired by the reigning leaders of Taldryan Template:TalQUA and Template:TalAED.

Current Structure

Taldryan Navy

The Taldryan Navy is the backbone of the Taldryan Expansionary Force. Given the distances traveled, and the objectives required, no feat of martial strength is even possible without the might of Taldryan's fleet to ensure the safety of the operation. The Navy is responsible for system defense, planetary assault, space superiority as well as transport of our forces, and the interdiction of enemy forces. The Navy's day to day operations function independently of Taldryan as a whole, requiring little to no oversight from TalSOC. The Navy is also the home to the Taldryan Starfighter Corps, an independent but integral part of the Navy's operations.

The Navy is represented within TalSOC by the Admiral of the Fleet PLACEHOLDER, and is commanded in it's day to day functions by High Admiral Tak Vordin.

The Starfighter Corps is represented within TalSOC by Taldryan's Air Marshal, and Wing Commander NPC PLACEHOLDER.

Taldryan Army

Taldryan's Army makes up one of the most significant pieces of the Taldryan Expansionary Forces, being responsible for ground-based military operations, and occupying enemy territory. The Ground forces of Taldryan are generally considered to be the least glamourous of the military branches, but respected as one of the most integral. The Army consists of multiple units divided by their strengths, consisting of infantry, mechanized infantry and reconnaissance Regiments. Taldryan's Army is also home to it's elite Special Forces Battalion: PLACEHOLDERCOOLNAME.

Taldryan's Army is represented on TalSOC by the Field Marshal PLACEHOLDER, and is commanded in the field by Marshal Travik Korr.

The Special Forces Branch, which is separate but contained within the army is represented on TalSOC by Shadow General PLACEHOLDER, and led by Commando-General NPCPLACEHOLDER.

Taldryan Intelligence Directorate

The intelligence-gathering arm of Taldryan's military, the Taldryan Intelligence Service is responsible for keeping the House's leaders informed on Brotherhood- and galaxy-wide developments. The Intelligence Service is divided into two divisions, Operations and Analysis. The Operations Division agents include the covert operators sent to infiltrate organizations, surveillance agents, interrogators, and inside informers who obtain the raw intelligence. The Analysis Division gathers the raw intelligence coming from the field, sorts and interprets it, and then determines how it fits into the bigger picture. The entire Service is overseen by the Executive Committee, which is made up of four members who are responsible for the administration of the entire Intelligence Service.

Taldryan Logistics

The Taldryan Logistics Service is responsible for managing the flow of required resources to the places they are needed to support Taldryan's military operations. Military academies teach that maintaining a secure supply line is perhaps the most vital element of military strategy. The Logistics service keeps the soldiers and equipment of the entire Security Service fully supplied and prepared for action. The Logistics service is made up of trained officers and recruits from across Taldryan's territory, who work with house equipment and pair with private business to ensure the supply of Taldryan's combat units. The Logistics Service shares it's rank system with the Army Service, and is commanded by a High General.
