Description

Soolin is a twenty two year old newly promoted Krath Dark Jedi Knight currently serving in House Ludo Kressh of Clan Naga Sadow.

She was inducted into the Clan at the age of fourteen as a youngling following the death of her parents in a mining disaster. She was sent to the Shadow Academy on her 18th birthday and graduated with honours. She is not only one of the youngest members to hold the rank of Dark Jedi Knight she has the distinction of being one of the few to actually be partially raised in Seng Karash, her parents being amongst the first to be brought in as mining employees into the city in 18 ABY when she was a child. Rumour has it the exact circumstances of her parents death and the death of twenty other miners was initially viewed as suspicious by the mine foreman but the Dlarit investigator quickly judged it to be purely accidental.

After eight years of training and indoctrination into Clan life Soolin is a committed and loyal member of Clan Naga Sadow and the Dark Brotherhood and views her childhood and family as another life and a distant memory. Like many new Dark Jedi Knights she is immensely proud of her status and holds the Clan Equites and Elders, especially those of the Krath Order, with a level somewhere between reverance.

In many ways however she is old beyond her years and is a quick thinker and has been well praised and awarded by her superiors for her progression in saber skills and force knowledge. On a personal note she is usually quiet but is also known for a dry and ironic wit that has made her popular with her contemporaries and is known to face every new challenge with a quiet and slightly intense optimism.

Physically Soolin is about five foot and two inches tall and has short dark hair and blue eyes. She is rarely seen out of her traditional Krath robes while amongst her fellow members and tends to wear none descript grey or brown clothing when she needs to enter the public areas.

Soolin is currently serving on an undercover assignment within the hydroponics facility on Seng Karash investigating rumours of sabotage but has been promised a transfer to combat status should the Clan embark on a military deployment.

Trivia

It's reasonable to assume by now that Soolin has probably deduced that her parents death and her recruitment into the Clan was not entirely accidental. However after eight years of indoctrination it is unlikely she particularly cares and would view it as a nessesary action.

The name Soolin, like the Liberator and the board of Dystopian Leisure comes from cult 1970s British sci fi Blakes 7.
