Seridan is a young Miraluka, born in 16 ABY, taken to the Academy by his parents, as they could ‘see’ the unusual amount of Force that ebbed from Seridan’s body. He has experience and training in computer hacking, and has developed training in the psychology of humans and near-human species, like the Miraluka. Seridan is also trained in the philosophies of these different cultures. Seridan works logically, but also quite empathetic. Also, Seridan was extensively trained by his parents in the use of language and linguistics. The patterns within linguistics mean that Seridan is able to pick up new languages quicker than others. As the Miraluka cannot see in the traditional sense, and instead see through the Force, Seridan has been utilising the force since he was born. Seridan was a very insular person, as a youngling. Up until a few years ago, he preferred to work alone. But after travelling the galaxy in search of a Force-sensitive place, (like the ruins of a Jedi Temple on New Tython, for example) Seridan has become more welcome to company and now prefers to work in a larger group to not only get better results, but to fulfil Seridan’s social needs. He enjoys the company of anyone who will talk and debate with him about the Force, or anything else, for that matter.

Seridan’s life story is quite average. He has grown up in an average Miraluka society, learning their ideals. Through his school years, he was taught normal literacy, numeracy such, and when he was asked to specialise, he chose to specialise in the psychologies and philosophies of other cultures. He also further studied his sciences and maths, which he has a natural talent for. Seridan has experience working on computers and with their coding, though he doesn’t consider this to be his main skill. He prefers to research cultures and philosophies, particularly finding the philosophies of the proto-consulars of the Je’daai very interesting. He spends his days meditating, debating and researching. He has been instructed in combat techniques and whilst preferring other methods, Seridan will choose a combat option, should one be necessary, with no alternative. He prefers hiding in the shadows when on an operation and if attacks are needed then he will strike from the shadows.

Pre-Brotherhood Years Seridan was picked out in 23 ABY, at the tender age of 7, as a capable user of the Force, and so he joined the Luka Sene, the Miralukan organisation of Force Sensitives. Put simply, the Luka Sene was a Force-User University, where Seridan was provided with much archived knowledge and educational facilities. This was a stark contrast with the old tome of knowledge from the village that Seridan came from.

Seridan left Alpheridies, the adopted planet of the Miraluka, when he was 16, in 32 ABY, after learning that the Miraluka are tentative in aiding the New Republic or the New Jedi Order, due to the Jedi Purge, which killed many of the mentors and teachers that assisted the Jedi Order. After finding out about the Yuuzhan Vong War and its toll on the New Galactic Republic, Seridan was unhappy about this all, decided that he had a choice to make: Stay with the Miraluka, or leave to help the Galaxy in whatever way he could.

Still loyal to the Council on Alpheridies, who had forbid him to join the Jedi Order after their great losses, Seridan instead enrolled for the New Republic Navy. But his application was denied, as he was a Miraluka. They said that as they were unsure about how the Miraluka could see and that physical condition, including eyesight, was very important in the Navy. Instead, they offered him the chance to work for the republic Scouts. Seridan agreed, and was introduced to the other members in his Scouting team. This arrangement lasted most of 5 years, until Seridan went rogue.

It was on the planet Harrakoa, where Seridan’s team decided to scout out the ruins of a settlement. Seridan experienced a vivid Force Vision, where he experienced jedi being attacked by many sith, and the settlement being razed. Seridan remembered the Great Purge and knew that this was later; very recent in fact. Seridan decided that whatever agreement that the Old Republic and the Old Jedi Order had was an agreement of importance, and decided to find the survivors of this attack. He tendered his resignation to his team leader and made off with a single datapad and a blaster. It wasn’t long before Seridan found another settlement, where a similar attack had occured. It was here that he found evidence of life.

Introduction to the Brotherhood The settlement that Seridan found was much larger - a city. It had similar damage - destroyed buildings and debris quite prevalent on the streets, but Seridan found signs of restoration - there were houses that were newly built - clear roads where carts had evidently been used recently. After knocking on one of the doors, Seridan was taken before the rulers of the city, a council. As an intruder to the lands, Seridan was looked poorly upon and faced punishment. However, a man named Adeodatus stopped the proceedings and asked that my case was completed by House Odan Urr. After the council agreed, Seridan was taken to a Jedi Temple, and was judged by Two Jedi, the human Liam Toran and the Togruta A’lora Kitura. Seridan was not punished and instead was introduced to the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. Seridan consented to joining and was taken to the moon of Ansei, where Shadow Academy was situated. Seridan was educated in the Force there and, at the start of 37 ABY, journeyed back to Harrakoa, which Seridan now knew to be New Tython.

Activity with the Brotherhood Its still new days with House Odan Urr for Seridan. With little action, Seridan has made progress with his Force studies, becoming a student of Adeodatus, and gaining his own armory Lightsaber, by progressing to the rank of Protector.

As he is still learning and studying the force, Seridan doesn’t like to think on his future as he fully understands that the future is ever-changing. Seridan chooses to use the Force as his guide and takes each day as it comes, unless a disturbance in the force causes him to start pondering the future. Whenever his thoughts do turn to the future, it is always the future of others and of societies, not of himself, as this can be corrupting.
