Apex Brigade Unit AB-5

Physical Description

This IG-100 MagnaGuard has its paint scheme altered dependant upon location and objective, the standard paint scheme maintained is jet black, however the paint scheme is changed each mission to a camouflage pattern that best fits the terrain that the robot will have to operate in. The Sensors visible on Unit AB-5 have been colored black to aid in concealment of the robot. The unit also carries a Ghillie suit made special for each mission which has been fitted for the robot to wear should it be nessecary.

History

This IG-100 was given to Apex Brigade after its acquisition by Clan Arcona. Apex Brigade then assigned the robot to Marrek Gunstinson whom had it reprogrammed to act as his personal spotter and bodyguard in the field.

Personality

Unit AB-5 is programmed to act respectfully to any and all known members of Clan Arcona, however it has been programmed to obey Marrek Gunstinson’s orders over any others.

Combat Specialization

• Sniper/Spotter - Unit AB-5 has been trained to use a custom DC-17m as a sniper and trained to act as Marrek Gunstinson’s spotter using a spotting scope

• Close range combat - Unit AB-5 is trained to defend Marrek Gunstinson at all costs in close range combat either with the DC-17 or using its Electrostaff

Weapon Loadout

• A custom DC-17m which has been modified with a longer barrel, a high powered scope along the top rail, and a low power red dot sight with back up iron sights mounted with a forty-five degree offset on the right side of the blaster. This blaster has a pressure switch on the right side for a close range stun setting, it has an ambidextrous selector switch to change from Semi-automatic to Fully Automatic fire, and the blaster is capable of loading Anti-armour Grenades with a four meter blast radius
