Vessel Info

The Gladius is a Vanguard class heavy assault gunship obtained by Tarentum after the events of Horizons.

Role

Gladius, along with her sister ships Cestus and Tridens, serves multiple roles for the House. During times of peace, the vessels are frequently found patrolling the major shipping lanes within the Yridia system. Their presence is often enough to calm any agitators. During times of war, the ships are used as support ships to the larger vessels of the fleet.

History

Constructed in during the time of the Galactic Empire, the three ships were acquired through some rather dubious sources, though many think that the ships were sold by a corrupt Imperial officer. Either way, Tarentum got a great deal on the ships and restored them to operational condition. All three ships were named after the three houses of Clan Tarentum: Gladius, Cestus, and Tridens.
