| The [[Echani]] were noted as skilled warriors, and many of their techniques became the basis for the Echani style of martial arts. The Echani were distinguished by their focus on light weaponry and armor, relying more on skill and technique rather than brute force.

| Their form is an almost forgotten fighting style, taught to the royal guardsmen of the Emperor, it is commonly fought with the aid of two small knives, the wielder needs to go through years of rigorous training to master Echani. The fluid movements of this combat are unpredictable, barely restrained emotion as the combatant fights. So powerful is Echani, the teaching of it is banned on the majority of planets in the known regions - this, however, is irrelevant, as so few remain who have mastered the style to the point that they are capable of teaching it. This fighting style should be wielded with extreme caution and due to it’s rare nature - especially by those who merely "toy" with it. Stances, Strikes and defense have not been catalogued.

| The Echani were known to focus primarily on melee weapons, such as vibroswords. Echani-made double-bladed vibroblades were used by the Palpatine's Royal Guard, yet again influencing their look. Though their personal energy shields were popular during the period surrounding the Jedi Exile's travel through the galaxy, they eventually fell out of general use.
