== Character History ==
=== Origins ===
Dralin's parents were wealthy business owners in the burgeoning city at the foot of Mount Tantiss. Shortly before the city's destruction during the events surrounding Grand Admiral Thrawn's plot to destroy the Republic, Dralin's parents moved off-planet, not wanting to be present during all the commotion while Dralin's mother was pregnant. Soon after New Nystao was established by the displaced Noghri as the new capital of Wayland, Dralin's parents moved back in time for Dralin to be born there.

== Character History ==
Growing up, Dralin often mingled with the Noghri, and soon grew more fond of the compact Noghri than his fellow Humans. He grew to accept Noghri culture, along with their ideas in honor, friendship, and family. Dralin would often spend his entire day with the Noghri children, also taking time out to speak with the Dynasts of the Noghri clans.
=== Preteen Years ===
Dralin Vhett started off as Dralin Corr, born into a poor family in the city of Coronet on the planet Corellia. His mother stayed home to raise Dralin and his older brother, Dreav, while his father worked as a mechanic alongside his Mandalorian partner, Kardan Vhett, the father of one of Dralin's close friends. Growing up, Dralin and Dreav were as close as brothers could be. Unfortunately, one day, when Dreav was sixteen and Dralin was fourteen, there was a horrible accident, caused by Jedi pursuing their quarry in the streets of Coronet. Dreav, who recently got his license to drive his very own speeder, was in that accident, killed instantly in a violent explosion.

=== Teenage Life ===
=== Teenage Life ===
After the funeral, Dralin's father, Drail, started drinking. Drail and Kardan recently landed a huge contract for starship repair for CorSec, but Drail started coming into work drunk, grieving for his favored son. After Kardan wrote Drail out of the partnership for nearly destroying one of their clients' ships in a drunken stupor, Drail stumbled home and took out his aggression on the closest thing available: Dralin. After a year of being beaten regularly by his drunk of a father, Dralin left his parents' house following a fight between him and his father that ended in Dralin somehow pushing his father across the room without laying a hand on him, moving in with Kardan's family.
The Dynast of the Hakh'khar Clan always held a soft spot for the strange Human among his kind. Dralin often held his own in philosophical debates with the Dynast, and viewed him as a grandfatherly figure. As a special treat, the Hakh'khar Dynast let Dralin sit in at the Grand Dukha, the meeting between the Clan Dynasts and their parties, when he was 16. It was here that Dralin's latent Force capabilities would manifest.

While Clan Hakh'khar was well-established in New Nystao, Clan Baikh'vair had misgivings about occupying the planet used by Thrawn as a base. Just before the meeting, Dralin felt something strange ab out the Baikh'vair Dynast, almost a feeling of imminent threat. He told the Hakh'khar Dynast about his feelings on the matter, and the Dynast listened, knowing that Dralin wouldn't impinge on the Baikh'vair Dynast's honor without reason. When the Dynasts all sat down to begin the discussions at hand, the Baikh'vair Dynast lunged across the table at the Hakh'khar Dynast. Had the Hakh'khar elder not been forewarned, the younger Baikh'vair Dynast could have easily dispatched him using the element of surprise.

After living with Kardan's family for a year and working at Kardan's starship repair business, Dralin was asked if he wished to become a part of Clan Vhett. Agreeing readily, he was initiated in the gai bal manda, the Mandalorian adoption ceremony. Before a crowd of witnesses, which included Dralin's drunk father, Dralin was officially named Dralin Vhett, son of Kardan Vhett. Dralin was to be taught Mando'a, the language of the Mando'ade, and also be taught the ways of the Mandalorians, such as the intricacies of their culture and the discipline of the Mando'ade.
For his warning and for the honor he displayed in his loyal actions, Dralin was named an honorary member of Clan Hakh'khar. For the other Noghri, the word of the Dynast and Dralin were enough; for the Human population who witnessed the occurrence and heard of Dralin's involvement, suspicion began to seep in. Soon, the community was divided on whether or not Dralin had set up the Baikh'vair Dynast, or if it was all a ruse to begin with. The Humans began making Dralin's life difficult, starting out with only little things. Sometimes he was given the cold shoulder, other times refused service at a Human-owned establishment. Soon, the taunting and heckling began. It was only a matter of time before things started getting violent, and Dralin could scarcely walk down the street without getting stones thrown at him along with the jeers.

===The Mando'ade===
The Hakh'khar Dynast, however, had held his suspicions about Dralin's insight close, and believed the young man to be Force-sensitive. After speaking to his contact in Clan Tarentum, in the Yridia System, the Dynast arranged for Dralin to be sent off, to both learn how to control his budding powers, as well as escape the cruel treatment of his peers.

=== Leaving Corellia ===
=== Training ===
After another year of living as a Mando'ade, Dralin was accosted by his birth father once again. Drail attacked him, and Dralin reacted the same way as before when he feared for his life: an untrained, unknowing Force push. He accidentally pushed Drail into a rack of tools, which stabbed him into his back and clean out of his chest. Kardan, who had witnessed the end of the confrontation, recognized that Dralin was using the Force, and tried to explain it to him the way his brother, who had left to become a Dark Jedi years before, had done for him. Then Kardan smuggled Dralin out of Corellia, sending him to the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, promising to take care of the mess. Dralin would hold the principles of his adopted family close to him the rest of his life.

=== A Different Kind of Family ===
=== Arrival at Sword's Sheath ===
Dralin Vhett was accepted into House Gladius of Clan Tarentum, and found that he fit in quite well. After studying with them for some time, Dralin felt that this was a new kind of family for him, another family that transcended blood. Determined to do both Clan Vhett and House Gladius proud, he was apprenticed to Quastor Kromtal Stormfyld, during which he was taken to the old Cestus complex on Koros by Telona Murrage, along with Elols and ShadowReaper. While the apprenticeship didn't last long, Dralin did learn quite a bit from Master Stormfyld. Shortly thereafter, Dralin was apprenticed to Telona.
Dralin was sent to the Sword's Sheath, House Gladius' home in the Itaana Belt. He learned much there, and enjoyed the freedom he had to learn about the Force and exercise both his body and his will. Soon, he attracted the attention of at-the-time-Quaestor Kromtal Stormfyld. Master Stormfyld taught him the value of initiative, answering questions his apprentice had. Soon, Dralin's Envoy, Telona Murrage, commandeered him and took him, along with fellow Journeyman Bieten Macht Elols, in what was supposed to be a routine flight. After crash-landing on the surface of Koros, Dralin and Elols followed Telona into the Cestus Complex, surviving the nightmare scenario until help arrived.

Soon after, Master Stormfyld passed Dralin's apprenticeship on to Telona, who had the time to devote to his training. It was then that Dralin was made the Archivist of Battle Team Praxeum, only to gain the position of Commander shortly thereafter.

*The idea for this character actually came from a character I made on the Facebook application Jedi vs Sith. That similarly named Dralin Vhett is a Sith Lord who was very similar to Revan and created an organization called the Xendor Alliance along with fellow Sith Discordya in the effort to wipe out the Jedi and bring order to the galaxy. There, Dralin is older, wiser, and is much more powerful than this fledgling Dark Jedi, but I definitely enjoy playing a younger Dralin Vhett.
*Dralin has difficulty using his Force senses, often being overwhelmed by the information they provide during the few times they work.
*Dralin Vhett's name is pieced together from a name I just thought of, Dralin, and the origin of the last name Fett, Mando Clan Vhett, which is pronounced the same.

"The smallest act can change the course of history. Never forget this."
―A teaching of the Hakh'khar Dynast

Dralin Hakh'khar started from humble beginnings and worked his way up to where he is today. While always ready to defend either his friends or his causes, Dralin knows that everything has a price, and that some prices must be paid for the greater good.
