Few times where tragedy has struck this soldier; and kept him down for long periods of times. Instead this Special Forces hopeful was always wanting the battlefield. Even his compatriots on the battlefield whom knew him off the war front would state he was at most ease with the blaster fire. Dev'err Malren is a soldier in House Dinaari; whom currently awaiting assignment is most likely standing guard at his designated posting.

Personality

If there is anyone out in the galaxy that is Misanthropic its Dev'err. His morbid humor topped with his razor sharp linguisitics; is always backed by an even sharper knife.

The sociopath feels little to no empathy; and virtually no remorse for his actions. In fact his hand steadies when the knife is in his hand. He has a psychotic tick with a tingling his hands seem to fidget as time passes and he hasn't done anything violent. Its safe to assume he relishes and needs violence. But he has to keep himself in-line with the Laws. And while respecting the laws he does allow his outburts of violence to translate into larger then average body counts in his mission. Some may think its necessary. But in the heat of the fire. He is always known to "I thought they were going for a gun."

He does wear a mask of sanity; he appears to be entirely sane; level headed and even extremely intelligent. Which his intelligence is actually extremely high in his calculative mind he is always calculating an exit strategy even if it means making himself appear unintelligent. As he will start speaking doubly and using phrases or strings of words that trigger a person's mind to perceive him as a mentally slow person in his speech. Which has helped him. But he also uses his words to discover what he needs to know. He can be seen studying a person and staring at them while he is entirely looking at their body to find weapons or unusual bulges and acts accordingly.

History

He is not a person to talk about his past. He in fact has decided that his past means nothing to him and he shouldn't allow others to really get to know him. He was born on Coruscant in 7 ABY to Serra Malren and Arios Malren. He would be their only child. When he was 15 years old his father refused to pay the Black Sun the protection money they demanded from him. On accounts that he needed to feed his family. When the Enforcer didn't like what he was hearing he shot his father in the chest before moving to the back of the shop where Serra was alone and she was brutally used and then murdered by the Black Sun Enforcers. Dev'err walked home later that day from his day at school. And when he saw this he was angered the provisional government didn't help him. He had to survive on his own. He would stalk and prey the lower end goons of Black Sun whenever he had the oppertunity. A natural at firing a blaster. He managed to not get caught; but it didn't help his personality too much.

Military

With a Military History like this mans he spent time fighting with military units that kept the traditions going on after the collapse of the Galactic Empire. He teamed up and was trained by these individuals on how to fight. And they became more or less a Death Squad trying to fight the newly in placed New Republic. With such fervant displeasure at the Rebellions atrocities he was told. "In the Name of Freedom" didn't sit well with him. But he started to show signs of some major underlying problems as they continued their fighting against patrols and doing such. He was showing signs of excitement and pleasure from the job. But he left on good terms with them before he enlisted into the Taldryan Army. Though this would later ask about his previous military experience. He technically didn't have any. And didn't divulge he was in a criminal organization. As the unit he was in was classified terrorists.

When he joined he was sent to Basic training and upon completion with near flying colors. His bunkmates didn't like him. He was off. Something about him didn't sit well. And when they were assigned their unit he was sent on a Patrol where afterwards he was asked to report for Mental Evaluation. Although he was allowed to remain in the Military he failed the Psychological Exam and was diagnosed a Sociopath as he showed the tendencies. And when he was asked of the action he saw with his patrol; a bit off settled he started talking of how he enjoyed the combat. Now he is currently a Guard at Talydran's Headquarters. Hoping he'll be allowed into the front lines sooner then later.
