Character History
Childhood
Dathka was born in the city on Malidris, the capital of Iridonia. He was born into a very poor family and so when he was very young, he was sent to an War Academy, where he spent the first years of my life. The Academy that Dathka was sent to was to train younglings to be in the Army and Personal Guards for a variety of things. He was able to have a few friends in the academy but not any long lasting relationships. Dathka and the other younglings were given a master “so to speak” that was to help them with their training. His Masters name was Minka Kasear. Minka was a well-known Tactician in the Army. Dathka became very close to him, in the sense of a father whom he never had. He was a great inspiration to Dathka.
Dathka was never like the other children his age, in the sense that he always wanted to know more than what was taught. By the time he was twelve, he was at level five “out of seven levels” of my training. He excelled in all his classes to the point where he was asked to help others with there studies. His teachers were all very happy with him. He was recommended for the advanced learning classes, were he soon excelled in them. He began learning about the Jedi, sith, and the history behind them. Dathka loved those classes. He was soon interested in them, but they did not continue on the subject for long.
Adolescence
When Dathka turned thirteen, he began the Selenoren trials. They were the hardest thing he had ever done. They tested every skill and every bit of knowledge he had. It took a lot of effort to pass them, but he did. When he passed, he was rewarded with his facial tattoo. It was the happiest moment in his life. His training was not over yet. Dathka’s master had many other things for him to learn. Minka wanted him to be all that he could be.
When Dathka was fifteen, the Apprentices were given a chance to see the old sith academy on Iridonia. On the tour, Dathka learned a lot about the sith and was very interested in the Dark Side of the force. When they went back to the academy, he asked his master some questions about the sith. Minka told him that he would not answer any questions about the subject, and he left. Puzzled about his response, Dathka went to the main archive to do some more studying. HHe read of the great sith war and many others involving Jedi and sith. He began wanting to learn more and more about the dark side. The thought of having great power like that enveloped him. Later that year he got to level seven, and was put on the recruitment program.
Tragedy
When Dathka turned sixteen, his master was killed when Minka’s shuttle malfunctioned and crashed. Dathka was devastated. It felt as if his whole life was ended. Through all the sorrow and pain, began rage and hatred. He never was the same person again. He began fighting and causing trouble in the academy. In addition, he started disrespecting all the teachers and the people over him. They told him that he simply needed to get over it and move on with his life. He grew closer and closer to the dark side. He then remembered, that when they went to the old sith academy. He had found an old scroll, but had forgotten about it. He went back to his room and located it, and started reading it. Dathka started learning how to do simple force moves like, picking up things and then moving them around. When his teachers found out that, he was starting to use the force they punished him, and told him that if he ever did it again while in the academy, he would be kicked out.
A New Life
When he turned seventeen, a human came and started recruiting for some apprentices to come and guard some building on Talus. Dathka volunteered to go because he wanted to get away from where he was. Little did he know that this was no ordinary assignment? Therefore, he and five others left with the human to go to Talus. After they had left, he noticed that they were not heading for Talus but for the Dajorra system. He immediately went and talked to the human that brought them, and asked him what was up. He told Dathka that he was a recruiter for the Dark Jedi Brotherhood and that he wanted them to become members. Dathka did not know if he was more shocked or happy. He had dreamed of becoming a dark Jedi but thought those days were long gone. When they landed on Eldar, he was ready for the future ahead of him.
Therefore, that is how Dathka came to be in the Dark Brotherhood, learning to be a Dark Jedi Knight.
The Dark Brotherhood
A new Master
When Dathka entered the Dark Brotherhood Academy, it was like nothing he had ever seen before. Its vast halls filled with old sith artifacts, boggled him. They were gestured into a large room, where they found the headmaster. He welcomed them, and told them where to take their things, and when classes would begin. He assigned each of them a clan, and a house. Dathka was placed in clan Arcona. The house of Galeres is where he was to live.
The next day, Dathka meet his Envoy Rho d'Tana for the first time. He was a very nice person who wanted to help Dathka get going in the DB.
After the next days classes were over, he went back to his house and got to know some of the other members. Later Dathka talked to his envoy about getting a master to help him get through his assignments.
The next day Dathka turned in his personal history for review. As he was walking to shadow academy, he met Quejo Drakai Xyler. They talked for a while and then went their separate ways. The later that day he went to see his envoy, and he told Dathka that he found a master that he could work with. Acheron d'Tana was his name. He told Dathka where he could find Acheron, and he left. When Dathka met Acheron, he thought he was a very wise person who been through a lot to get where he is today. Dathka knew Acheron would be able to help him achieve his goals.
So that is how Dathka met and became Acherons apprentice.
