The VT-49 Decimator Augur was the seventh of eight such vessels delivered to the Eighth Fleet in 27 ABY.

Construction

Begun in 25 ABY at the Kuat Drive Yards facility at Xa Fel in the Kanchen Sector, Augur was one of the first VT-49's to be constructed for a client other than the Galactic Empire.

Role

Having served as part of the Cotelin Strike Group under Task Force 64 Augur was often employed as a scout and light picket. When configured internally to accommodate an infantry squad the ship could be used as a boarding vessel or raider.
