Archer Merchant was born on Corellia to a middle class family that owned a small freight company. There he learned how to pilot, helping his family in his free time and attending Coronet University in the hopes of further expanding the family business. However, the head of a rival company had other plans, killing Archer's family in what would be deemed an accidental overload of the facility's power generator. Archer himself narrowly survived when a shuttle he was piloting crashed into the ocean due to sabotage. The memory of plummeting toward the planet would leave him with a weariness for extreme heights. Using what credits he still had he managed to orchestrate a plan to lure the one who had killed his family to a private meeting under the guise of a business deal. The man was found the next day by authorities with both his hands and head severed. In the following years Archer coasted about the underworld of Corellia, working for the occasional smuggler by helping to balance their profits until one day when he was approached by a mysterious stranger. They spoke of his potential and promised great power and knowledge if he would just accompany them for what he referred to as a 'test'. He accepted, and soon found himself at the academy for the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. From there he was attached to House Galeres of Clan Arcona where he currently resides.

Trivia

The term 'God Bless You' after a sneeze stems from the days of the black plague, in which uncontrollable sneezing was one of the first symptoms. It was meant as a quick prayer, since most infected were dead within seven days.
