Information

The Assault Frigate is a ship born out of the need to refit the old Dreadnaught Heavy Cruisers. To economize fuel consumption and increase engine capacity, technicians stripped away huge portions of the superstructure. To accommodate the needs within this newer age of technology, much of the vessel was retooled to replace Human work stations with computer or droid controlled stations. The modified Assault Frigate has also been stripped of docking bays or landing platforms for carried ships. However, there are twenty umbilical docking fixtures on the ship's surface. A few of these docks can accommodate standard transports, but the majority are designed for light freighters or starfighters.

History

The Praetorian was claimed by Clan Taldryan during the Sixth Great Jedi War. Its speed and firepower were an excellent addition to the Fleet. In the Battle of Antei, the Praetorian fought hard to hold off forces of Clan Tarentum and guarding the Katarn while moving out. Following the conflict, the aging ship was decommissioned to make room for new and better ships, its past though would never to be forgotten.
