Tek Cicero Dantes is a Sith Battlemaster in House Cestus of Clan Tarentum. He is more pilot than Dark Jedi, and is inclined to loneliness, though he will take on occasional apprentices.

Character History

Much to be proud of, much to forget. Never enough former, always enough regret.

Before The Stars Beyond

I quickly came into my own in the dueling circles on Adumar. The life of a duelist suited me well, and I became accustomed to flying challenges versus rival families or engaging in martial combat with my Blastsword at the Court of Cartann. An Imperial Remnant envoy noticed me during a trip to Adumar, and extended an invitation to return with him to Imperial space. I accepted, and attended the Imperial Starfighter Academy on Bastion. I was stationed aboard the Imperator Class Star Destroyer Pariah, until the majority of my battlegroup defected to the Emperors Hammer.

From there, I rose through the ranks, eventually becoming Avenger Squadrons youngest commander ever. I led my squadron with fervor and energy from the Victory Class Star Destroyer Aggressor, until I was removed from command because I uncovered a corrupt official in the command assistant staff. I fled the borders of the Emperors Hammer, drifting from sector to sector, trying to make a name for myself.

A Sword and Shield for a Saber

Down on my luck and wanted for small crimes and fraud, I hid on Bilbringi, working as a machinist on the orbital docks. A man by the name of Aristan Dantes approached me with a proposal to train in the Jusadih system. I joined him, having no place else to go really, and was shown that I was talented in the Force. True, it was a latent ability inside myself, but through years of training and mentoring I tamed my wild abilities, honed them, and harnessed them. I grew within myself in the Force, and let my frustrations fuel my desire for advancement. I rose to the rank of Sith Warrior, and took on the mantle of a Master. My goal is to train a young Dark Jedi as I was trained, with a guiding hand, but with stern wisdom. To show my utter devotion to Plaguies and Aristan Dantes, I cast off the shackles of my last name, Selkirk, and adopted the name of my first master, Dantes.

Clan life did not suite me. It was a harsh lesson to learn. Confinement with others only mired my will and my connection with the Force. Conflicts ensued. A Rogue I became. A lone blade and cloak.

Time passed. Tarentum called upon me. Unification came and went. I fought for Tarentum, and myself. One loss and one victory. And now I have an apprentice. One that shows promise.
