I Corps is the mobile ground assault and strike force of Clan Tarentum. Grouped with Task Force Piranha, and designated UCC-1 (aka Yridian Space), the Corps headquarters are aboard the Magnus Kaerner.
History
Following the aftermath of the Vong Invasion, Clan leaders needed a new way to project the Clan's power. The results of their work was a new and vastly improved military. Moving away from the old dictum of fighting a theater with several Corps or Army Groups, the new I Corps is expected to hit an enemy hard and fast, with support from Naval elements.
