Kamjin the Hutt, which is not his real name, is a Hutt of questionable status and stature within the various criminal syndicates. Few know who he really is. What is known is that at some point in time he began an unhealthy obsession with Kamjin Lap'lamiz. He's done everything from change his name and the clothes he wears to attempt to pass himself off as the former Emperor of Clan Scholae Palatinae.

Republic Era

Kamjin the Hutt was born in 589 BBY and originally known as Kamja. While the Grand Hutt Council was celebrating the birth of Jabba the Hutt still from 600 BBY, an important heir to the Desilijic Tiure clan, Kamja's birth went unnoticed. No records have been found that definitively prove that Kamja was born into the Desilijic Tiure clan. The earliest recovered records show signs of tampering and with Jabba's death in 4 ABY and the fall of his palace on Tatooine means that few are able to recover any original records regarding Kamja one way or another.

Imperial Era

While his time during the Republic Era is lost, Kamja begins to appear during the Imperial era in Imperial reports of a master forger. Specifically in the creation of near perfect chain codes.

Kamja had gained access to official Imperial equipment which resulted in the produced chain codes being genuine in construction. Utilizing a growing group of gangsters, smugglers, bounty hunters, and criminals, Kamja was able to buy access into Imperial computer networks to flash official serial numbers onto the chain codes.

Kamja sold these codes primarily to the other Hutt Clans but also utilized it to parley influence with the fledging rebellion against the Empire. As with all Hutts, he played both sides against the other to protect himself. If an Imperial became to interested he may sell out a local Rebel cell or leak the Imperial's travel plans to a Rebel hit squad.

Rise of the Brotherhood Era

Following the death of Jabba the Hutt, Kamja began utilizing the Desilijic Tiure clan association freely in his business dealings. His chain code operation was nearly crippled as the New Republic sought to move away from the chain codes utilized during the age of the Empire. At this point, Kamja moved his operations further into the Outer Rim and expanded into the spice trade, political assassinations, illegal gambling establishments, and more. It is not known if he paid a tithe to the Desilijic Tiure clan or the Grand Hutt Council. It is, however, assumed that some sort of arrangement had been struck which allowed his operation to proceed unmolested by the other Hutts and crime syndicates.

Kamjin "Maverick" Lap'lamiz

At some point around ABY 6 the Desilijic Tiure clan, led by a junior member named Claudius the Hutt, engaged with forces under the command of Kamjin "Maverick" Lap'lamiz. Kamjin, formerly a member of Scholae Palatinae, had been pressed into service again with the Grand Master's Royal Guard. Through a series of adventures, Kamjin tracked down Claudius the Hutt and discovered he had been working with a bizarre Gungan named Tri'beck to gain mining rights within the Brotherhood's territories.

Kamja became obsessed with Kamjin's ability to navigate the underworld with ease while gaining the respect of the Brotherhood elite. The fact that Kamjin rooted out this conspiracy within a matter of weeks and left Claudius scarred, having inflicted nerve damage on Claudius the Hutt such that he was never warm again, left a major impression on Kamja. If he could harness this power. This charisma. Then he'd be unstoppable.

The New Order Era

As Kamjin "Maverick" Lap'lamiz returned to Scholae Palatinae, Kamja put his plan into action. Utilizing his centuries of forgery skills and connections he recreated himself in the image of the new Emperor. Custom armor was created in the same royal red and gold. This time Kamja went beyond simply forging chain codes. Utilizing his criminal network and influence within the various, legal, governments he began inserting images of himself in place of Kamjin "Maverick" Lap'lamiz.

Kamjin the Hutt, for which he was now referred to having cast aside his Kamja name, was so successful that various heads of state within the Brotherhood were convinced that the real Emperor, now turned Justicar, was a Hutt.

This success emboldened Kamjin the Hutt to become more active. Including getting a training lightsaber to practice so that he'd further appear as the real Kamjin. His criminal partners have grown increasingly concerned as to what the end-game is for Kamjin the Hutt and what, if any, profit will be had from this course of action.
