Aurelis Phaelor is a human female born of an Imperial refugee family on the moon Toshara. She is an observational, quiet woman who does not trust easily. Adept at a number of...questionable skills, she keeps her past largely under wraps.
Character History
Early Life
Aurelis was born in 12aby to a former Captain of the Empire, Karn Phaelor and his wife Firaan on the distant moon of Toshara. Karn treated his household much like his career and though cut off from the fallen Empire, trained his children the way he'd have trained his soldiers. Aurelis, who from the time she could walk, had a natural grace that meant a soft step and resulted in several jump scares a week. By the time she was 6 she had spent plenty of time observing her father and brother train in a variety of skills, from hand to hand combat to blasters. It didn't take long for Karn to notice his daughter's interest, and pulled her into the training sessions.
Karn taught her the Imperial hand to hand he learned as a teenager, the use of blades and blasters. She had a natural talent with martial arts, her brother Artreste got the talent in blasters. Over time she developed a style of utilizing her stealth, martial arts and blade use all her own that resulted in more and more jump scares as now she had a challenge.
As a young teenager Karn's attention shifted more to her, as Artreste started working with the moon's governing body. Karn taught his daughter strategy, and between physical training, and book learning, she became a menace on her own.
When she was 16, her brother vanished, he went to work one day and never came home. While they were not particularly close, her parents had always emphasized family first. She set out to investigate, what she found was not what she expected. Betrayal of family, corruption and a knife's edge of loyalty between two criminal organizations. This discovery led her down a dark hole, and into the murder of her Uncle. Now wanted for Murder, she left the moon for the wider galaxy.

What credits the 17 year old could muster only lasted a couple weeks between transportation and meals. She took to finding work as she headed across Hutt space, one such job inadvertently displayed her martial skills and garnered the attention of a mercenary who travelled with two others around the Outer Rim, taking on jobs that paid well, they'd give her lodgings and food until she proved her worth then she'd receive a share of earnings. Desperate, she accepted, and for several months things went well. Then a job landed in their laps that would change everything, again. A Sith was seeking information regarding the death of his mother and the pay...was too good to pass up. After gathering the information, they boarded their ship and headed back to Tatooine. One of the party paused at a kiosk, and caught up at a cantina. The next thing Aurelis knew, a blaster was pointed at her head. The group had discovered the bounty on her. When she returned to the Sith, she was covered in blood but only bore two injuries. She exchanged the dataspike for the credits and when the man offered to heal her, she did not respond favorably. In fact she was outright hostile, she'd gone from quiet and observational, to reclusive.
