Xander runs a bar called The Thirsty Devaronian. He’s since retired from his life as a mercenary to be a simple bartender, or at least he would if his reputation as an accomplished combat medic didn’t keep leading bleeding customers into his bar. After a while, he turned what was the office in the basement of the bar into a doable emergency room. With hands steadier than a Coruscanti Surgeon, he removes slugs from scoundrels and others who can’t go to a hospital, whatever their reasons may be.
He doesn’t tolerate petty fights in his bar, he keeps his trusty scattergun behind the bar and a vibroknife sheathed in his boot. If you want to fight, take it to the street and whoever loses can get patched up in the basement, for a fee, of course.

Xander "Devil Doc" Corvius does not charge a high price because he has to pay for a life of luxury; he charges a high price because he knows that he is the best in the game and worth the credits. Those who do not know Xander "Devil Doc" Corvius will feel he is gouging them, but those who have seen him in action know that he always delivers. This bravado follows Xander "Devil Doc" Corvius around and builds on the success of completed jobs and can be off-putting to other Mercenaries that will try and lash back by pointing out his failures.
I’m Getting too Old For This
Xander "Devil Doc" Corvius has both been there and done that. he thinks he has seen every imaginable scenario of war and battle and survived it all, and that nothing can phase him. The daily grind has almost become too intolerable for Xander "Devil Doc" Corvius and they are prone to lash out at anyone who attempts to coerce them into another adventure.

Where some may see a boon, Xander "Devil Doc" Corvius will often see the curse accompanying it, just around the corner.Xander "Devil Doc" Corvius's constant pessimism can often lead to conflict and the annoyance of those around him, not to mention the dampening of spirits. However, this mindset is not without its benefits, for a pessimist is far more likely to be prepared for the worst and be left unscathed by it - after all, none are more prepared for the worst case scenario than the ones expecting it all along.

Xander "Devil Doc" Corvius is often confused and heavily saddened by the amount of idiocy that constantly surrounds him. It is often much easier for Xander "Devil Doc" Corvius to cope with people by ensuring he stays inebriated and dulling his senses. When unable to find alcohol for an extended period of time, Xander "Devil Doc" Corvius will devolve into a ravenous, hate-filled monster that is nigh impossible to be around. In other words, Xander "Devil Doc" Corvius is an addict.

When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Xander "Devil Doc" Corvius? Xander "Devil Doc" Corvius doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Xander "Devil Doc" Corvius, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Xander "Devil Doc" Corvius isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Xander "Devil Doc" Corvius won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Xander "Devil Doc" Corvius will still be winning, the best and most dirty way he knows how.

Sometimes the only way to prepare for the worst is to always expect it. Xander "Devil Doc" Corvius takes this philosophy one step further by never leaving home without accounting for every possible scenario he might expect to encounter. Xander "Devil Doc" Corvius tends to always have the right tool or item for a situation and has a habit of quietly and almost smugly presenting solutions before anyone even recognizes there is a problem. This foresight is far from infallible, however, and he often finds himself at a loss in situations that go
beyond what he could have imagined. While incredibly practical and often a life-saver in a pinch, his perpetually pessimistic outlook on daily life can be a bit draining on more optimistic-inclined companions.
