Rivio Rosan is a former slave being taken from his parents and homeworld at a very early age, and eventually escaped his owners at the age of 18. Before this he had learned of an innate Force sensitivity inside him, allowing him to secretly do his work with ease and allowed his escape to be simple. He would steal ships to travel from planet to planet till eventually he started following the Sith path, finding Sith Holorcrons in long abandoned temples for his training.

At some point he found himself on Mandalore where he met Sierra Afton and first saw Dark Jedi Brotherhood propaganda. He decided to take the trials and join the Brotherhood where he is a member of Clan Naga Sadow, House Shar Dakhan in the fireteam Disciples of Dakhan. He stands proudly by his fellow clanmates and Brotherhood members whenever they may need it and he's available.

Pre-Brotherhood Life

Slavery

According to the Trandoshan slaver records Rivio was taken at the age of 7 in 12 ABY; however they did not list the planet they took him from. Within the first 3 years of his slavery he discovered his latent Force ability, allowing him to move rocks and heavy equipment easier while also allowing him to train his telekinesis skills. In secret he would also find material to read in Basic and educate himself the best he could, in the process picking up Binary and began speaking to service droids in the slave camp.

In 23 ABY he had made a plan to escape, and at noon enacted it. Causing chaos by picking a fight with a fellow slave, he was responsible for starting a full-on rebellion against the slavers. Using the fighting as a cover he rushed for a ship and not so gracefully lifted off leaving the asteroid they held the camp on. After he proprley escaped he grew to not trust anyone until they proved worth the trust, believing this kept him alive for as long as he's been.

Meeting Sierra Afton

About 3 and 3 fourths of a year after his escape Rivio wondered the stars, stealing as needed for supplies and ships before crashing on an unknown planet within the Outer-Rim territories. His foresight was clouded and he couldn't properly use the Force until he was met by a Force Spirit claiming to be his ancestor; the spirit told Rivio that an ancient Sith temple was on the planet, and what lied within clouded his visions and powers. Following the Will of the Force he came upon the temple where after maneuvering around traps he succeeded in retrieving a Sith Holocron. Once he opened it he felt himself filled with a 'purpose', although he didn't know what he was to find. From then on he trusted the Will of the Force and only acted on it when it wished him to.

His travels in search for the mystery object led him to Mandalore. His first interaction with a resident to the planet was a young women trying to steal from him. After a brief chase and taking back his belongings they formed a partnership; she introduced herself as Sierra Afton, and after a couple of stressful days of searching they had a single intimate night with each other. The next day Rivio was taken in by the local 'law enforcement' and interrogated where he used said night to rile up one of his captures before Sierra busted him out. After leaving a small diner he spotted a poster for the Brotherhood. At the end of the year he decided to join them and become a full member.

Joining the Brotherhood

When Rivio first appeared he did the simple tasks of taking the test and being placed in a clan. He was still uncertain but eventually figured he’d have to get over it for now and make due with what he had. Not knowing much in terms of the Brotherhood’s history and traditions he studied at the Shadow Academy as much as possible to learn as fast as he could. He made it a goal to gain traction as fast as possible and it through ranks so he could finally earn enough credits to sustain himself without stealing.
