- "Seduce and destroy."
- ―Zasati Tryezsh
Zasati Tryezsh (born Tryezsha’lin Osechal Zelle; born 1 ABY), is a Jedi Hunter in House Ektrosis of Clan Taldryan.
Early Life
1 ABY - 20 ABY
Zasati Tryezsh was born Tryezsha’lin Osechal Zelle in 1 ABY on a planet in the Hapes Cluster. Her mother, a Hapan named Tryezsha’lin Danidual, was the lead researcher of the Firedrake Project. Her father, a Human named Tatim Osechal, was her mother’s assistant. An only child, the young half-Hapan had a relatively normal childhood. She was raised with strong Hapanese values, believing that males were the lesser sex and that no one, not even family, should ever get in the way of one's rise to power.
Near the end of her 14th year, Zasati's parents were targeted by the Hapes Consortium for reasons unknown to Tryezsh. The Consortium’s eyes and ears were ubiquitous across the Hapes Cluster and it wasn’t long before her parents were imprisoned and executed. Zasati escaped their fate largely in part to her parents’ foresight. Months prior they had sent her to live with a relative out in the Outer Rim Territories.
16 ABY – 20 ABY
At the age of 15, she found herself homeless in the city of Valentia on the planet Jelucan where she found work in a dress shop. Zasati Tryezsh was evidently an extremely attractive young woman, with a lissome figure and enchanting smile. By the time she was 17, she had become aware that prominent men were willing to give her credits in exchange for her company in both private and social settings. She became a courtesan at The Blue Monk, a high-end bordello, under the tutelage of Madame Ki’nota Siv.
The Mark of The Blue Monk – 20 ABY
Zasati was given the new name, Asivoir, and branded by Madame Ki'nota Siv before she was allowed to work at The Blue Monk. Madame Ki'nota had an Electrotattoo in the House Emblem of two twisting lines branded on her left cheek, forever marking her as property.
Zasati’s Electrotattoo is an obscure marvel of modern electronics. Almost considered a cybernetic device, it is comprised of two parts. First, a series of tiny optic transceivers, collectively called Nanoink, are surgically inserted under the skin to resemble a tattoo. Next, a sensory implant chip is installed within the user’s brain. This allows the Nanoink optics to communicate with the sensory-interpretation areas of the brain. The device monitors the chemicals in the brain in order to transmit the proper color sequence to the Nanoink. The colors correspond to a special code known only by Madame Ki’nota and the courtesans of The Blue Monk.
The primary use of the Electrotattoos was branded the property of The Blue Monk. The secondary use was to expose the courtesans’ true emotions and intentions, in regard to their Madame, and keep them in check.
This means that unfortunately for most, the colors don’t tend to correspond with their commonly associated galactic meanings. For this reason, Zasati doesn’t hide the tattoo. When no strong emotions are present the Nanoink shimmers like black oil on water.
At the time, Zasati was considered to be one of the most adept and attractive prostitutes in the area of Valentia.
21 ABY - 27 ABY
By the time she turned 20, she had made her way to Skor II and begun her training in the art of the sword. Her master, a Squib trader named Tivsa and was, as most Squibs were, talented at deal-making. He taught the young Hapan the ways of haggling and salvaging. He also suggested that Zasati begin to wear a veil, teaching her that attention to her Mark of Ownership was not something she would enjoy.
In her later wanderings, she found that many unwanted annoyances could be avoided by the simple veil. A few years later she crossed paths with a young woman who told her of unseen powers that could restore her honor. Eager, she sought out these powers and found herself introduced to the Dark Brotherhood.
DB History
28 ABY - 30 ABY
Upon joining the Brotherhood, Zasati became an Obelisk, mostly because she found that neither the Sith or Krath Orders’ ideals suited her. Soon thereafter, Zasati Tryezsh was transferred into House Ektrosis, where she quickly became acquainted with a handful of its members. She passed five Shadow Academy courses, and eagerly began her advancement in the Brotherhood.
