Thorfinn Hadvar Mindon is an Eldarian Wilderness Ranger that was selected from the Special Forces of the Arcona Army Corps to be a part of the Fade Initiative. During his time in the Arcona Armed Forces, Staff Sergeant Mindon served as a Demolitions Expert for one of the Special Forces teams. Upon being chosen to be a part of the Fade Initiative, Mindon was given an Honorable Discharge from the Arcona Army Corps. He is now a companion to Celevon Edraven.

History
Thorfinn Hadvar Mindon was born six years prior to the Battle of Yavin to parents Edvard and Freyja Mindon on the planet Eldar. His father served as a blacksmith within the Shogunate of Tao-Feng, owning a weapons shop whilst his mother handled the household tasks. Thorfinn is the eldest of four children: his two sisters Hel and Eir, and youngest brother Tyr. The moment he was old enough to do so, Thorfinn began working in the shop, giving his father more time to work the forge itself. During this time, Thorfinn learned the best way to sharpen and handle the various weapons in the shop, though he preferred the smaller ones. Daggers, hatchets and such. He learned to appreciate the simple elegance and beauty in the weapons his father crafted. Around his fifteenth birthday, there was a business merger and their small shop grew. Instead of just crafting and selling melee weapons, they have moved into firearms. This, Thorfinn much preferred to the melee weapons. One of the new employees taught him how to handle, maintain and properly fire these.
Several years passed before a new military was setting itself up in the Dajorra System. After hearing a rumor about the amount of training and pay there were offering, Thorfinn enlisted and went to boot camp within a week of signing up. The years flew by as he was selected for the Special Forces of the Arcona Army Corps and trained in demolitions.
It wasn’t for another decade that Mindon was approached for a new mission: The Fade Initiative. He spoke to several men and women before being approached by a quiet male who offered a spar. Thorfinn was impressed and gained respect due to the fact that the Human refused to use the Force to fight against him. That day, he swore his undying loyalty to that man; his name was Celevon Edraven.
Physical Description
Thorfinn Mindon towers over many at six foot, three inches tall. If that weren't enough, his physique is that of a lifelong athlete: solid, yet lean muscle with very little body fat to speak of. His dark brown hair rests in waves at the base of his neck and he keeps a neatly trimmed goatee, firm in his belief of maintaining a well-groomed appearance. This is the way he maintained his appearance prior to joining the Arcona Army Corps. His eyes are a startling shade of golden brown, though some would describe them as amber unless they were face-to-face with Mindon. They clearly express his emotion and usually speak measures of his gentle soul, though they also reflect the hardness of a being that has lived through war and seen horrors he rarely speaks of. Should he tuck some of his hair behind his ear, the clearly pointed tips reveal his part-Sephi heritage.
Though he tries, he has been a part of the military for so long that some habits remained. When it comes to his attire, Mindon dresses himself the same way whether he’s in combat or generally on the move. Cargo trousers, form-fitted shirts and either a jacket or coat.
He carries a concealed pistol which is sometimes a blaster and sometimes a slugthrower, a fixed-blade knife in his boot and another up his left sleeve. Thorfinn also carries a multitude of equipment that has everyday uses, but could also be used to disarm a bomb. There is, of course, some gear he carries should he need it. When going into a combat situation, he carries a full arsenal of equipment from breaching charges and detonators, grenades. He also carries a AAC (Arcona Army Corps) Conscript Carbine. Anyone who had served under Sashar Erinos Arconae would assume that Mindon was a disguised Demolitions Expert for old Soulfire from his gear alone.
Personality
Thorfinn Mindon is of the firm belief that there are ways around everything, though they’re not always obvious at first glance. Whereas most would have a certain operating procedure when it comes to entering a small location with a single gunman, Mindon would prefer to disable the enemy with a shot or two to the leg, then enter from a secondary point, whether it be a back door or going through a wall.
Despite his skill with explosives and willingness to take out any threat to himself or those he considers friend or family, Thorfinn Mindon is a gentle soul. He is a student of both philosophy and strategy and will offer either a token of wisdom or some proverb to help get his point across in any conversation or situation. Those who he gives his loyalty will have it until his very last breath.
Combat Specialization
- Explosives - Thorfinn Mindon remains one of the highest skilled demolitions experts within the Arconan Armed Forces, despite his discharged status. Because of this training and level of skill, Thorfinn has a keen eye for detail and can spot things before others.
