During the Dark Crusade four Sadowans joined together for a mission to capture the Sword of Revelations. The mission was both a failure and a success. They failed in capturing the fabled weapon, but succeeded in learning that they made the perfect team. The four Sadowans were Macron Goura Sadow, Roxas Buurenaar, Shirai Ryu Dupar, and Maelous Ascarend. When they became Horsemen they became the embodiment of their new title, which they learned as they "awoke." The Force lead them to this path, as it is their destiny.
