When Journeymen in various houses and clans where reported to have gotten enhanced ability's for a short time and over aggressive and murderous tendencies, the Dark Council decided to investigate and found that the first reported "infection" came from Plagueis.
The "Infection" was referred to as a Plague due to the unknown source of which it came. Until the council knows more, no one will know for sure just what is going on.
