Early Life on Corellia
Murtallica is a proud man from a small settlement on Corellia, not much is known about his original family, but he was raised by a middle-class family who taught him how to build things on his own. He has specialized in making weapons, as well as a series of other things, including repairing or helping build starships. He took these lessons on building starships in his small colony's piloting facilities. He managed to scrap together a Aethersprite Delta-7 he found crashed somewhere in the nearby surrounding lush forests, of course it wasn't in perfect condition so he had to spend some credits to acquire replacement parts for the impressive starship. Upon completing his project, he took flight classes at the same facility and was considered a natural at flying. He was also fond of watching swoop races and repairing swoop bikes when he was on Corellia, he still enjoys watching and betting on the occasional race.
Life After Leaving Corellia
At the age of 19, Murtallica was ready to leave his past behind in search of adventure and credits. He successfully found people with the same agenda and created a small mercenary band of six. His favorite member of the mercenary band is a young Miraluka named Morotheri. Together, the band became notorious for getting jobs done, as well as feared throughout parts of the galaxy. The band was also merciless during their contracts, not stopping until the contract was complete and paid. The team also enjoyed going into a firefight recklessly when their clients had not asked for discretion during their jobs. The pay was good, as were the rewards. Murtallica was the man who set up the appointments for the clients, as well as the contracts. Out of all of the members of the team of six, Murtallica was the most famous, also in part to his experience with gunslinging with his dual blaster pistols.
The Black Talons, as they were called, were a larger mercenary band that had been Adversaries to Murtallica. Often, these two factions fought one another for contracts and have built up a strong hatred for one another over the years. During the Apex of Murtallica's mercenary group, the team had brought in massive sums of credits with each day. The band had also enlisted a new recruit, Xin Vorii. The Epicthanix had been a skilled agent of The Black Talons while he was enlisted into the small mercenary band that Murtallica had led. Xin Vorii had one singular goal, to lead to the inevitable downfall of this mercenary group.
Xin Vorii finished the final stages of his plan to dissolve the mercenary band. The Black Talons had begun stealing contracts or eliminating any contacts affiliated with Murtallica's mercenary band, leading to a rapid decline in business for the small mercenary group. Eventually, their plan had succeeded, and the group was dissolved after they had conducted a massive raid on their hideout.
During the night of the raid, Murtallica and his followers had been gathered into their warehouse on Nar Shadda. The night sky crackled as lightning poured down from all directions as the mercenaries had been resting after an exhausting contract, in which things almost went horribly wrong. It was then when The Black Talons stormed the warehouse, slaughtering members of the mercenary group as they charged in, armed to the teeth with blasters and flamethrowers. The carnarge was over quick as four of the mercenary band's members lay limp on the ground, their skin blistered and charred from the intense heat of the flames. Murtallica had led Morotheri to a large hatch during the assault, as they both escaped the scene via a network of large shafts, of which both men navigated to the exterior of the building. The Black Talons were victorious, but they would not forget the faces of the two individuals that escaped their grasp.
