Tuokotta, meaning "Grounds Gift" in Harakoan, is a natural site in Milil'ea, A continent of New Tython. It contains hot springs and terraces of carbonate minerals left by the flowing water. It is located in the east region, which has a temperate climate.
Pools
In the area there are 27 differant pools that range in temperature from 35 °C (95 °F) to 100 °C (212 °F) the pools used to be difficult to trek too, being a site of pilgrimage as only those with the strength of will and physical capabilities could make it there. The idea of pilgrimage was to submerge ones self in the pools from coldest and onwards until you could no longer handle the heat. However, after many generations a path was finally forged to make the journey easy for elders who would travel there to relive memories of youth.
Every third month the springs dry up (none are sure why this happens.) for two weeks. A festival is held for the returning of the Tuokotta pools.
Tourism
In the past year, the site itself has become an attraction for people to visit (however it should be noted that it has become forbidden for any to enter the water as, over the years, the pools have become severly damaged) and vials of the water are sold during the festival that is held. The biggest attraction has, however, become the festival itself, held once every three months to welcome the water back.
The Kottatuca or "Gifts Welcome" is the festival held once every three months to welcome the waters back to the spring after their regular two week disappearance. The festival lasts for three days. The festival starts with an open showing where people will come forward with their entertainment (normally consisting of native musicians and dancers) and ends with Elders bathing in the pools (It should be noted that they bathe in an artificial remake of the pool brought for the festival as they cannot bathe in the real springs due to it now being forbidden.)
