A foundling, Oba Chabua was raised by an elderly Mandalorian man by the name of Dok Brae. A Devaronian, she is at times viewed as an outsider but welcomed when her skills are on display. Earning her right to join the tribe, she lives by the Canons of Honor and serves her Clan, Odan-Urr, with an intense loyalty. Often a free spirit, she is quick to fire off quips of sarcasm or joke around with her brethren but she is also quick to brandish her weaponry. Don't let her moniker, Dove of the Dawn fool you, its ill-advised to underestimate her because of her light-hearted demeanor. She is an aggressor on the field of battle and has the skills to back up her claims. Whether it be to line her pockets or to better the position of her Clan, Oba has a, never say die, work ethic and is in a constant state of maneuvering; always seeking to better herself and her position. Leaving her mark on the Galaxy is an ambition she will see through to fruition or die trying.

Character History

Dawn Of A New Age

Concord Dawn

Soon after her birth on Devaron, Oba Chabua, was taken by her parents to explore the Galaxy. Her father, Bor, was addicted to expedition and travel. Excited by the idea of seeing places he had never seen, he was ecstatic when given the opportunity to board a transport set for Concord Dawn where his people were put to work in a network of polluted mines as they were naturally resistant to toxins. Jumping on the offer, he could not bear the thought of leaving his wife and new daughter planetside and thought that it was in the best interest of his family to stick together. Afterall, if he were to leave alone, he didn't know if he would ever see them again.

Hearing tales of the Mandalorians and their way of life enthralled him. But unfortunately upon landing, Oba's mother and father were gunned down in the streets by a group of pirates that saw more value in the ship than the lives onboard. Swift intervention and justice reigned down on the group of pirates as a squad of Mandalorians witnessed the massacre and immediately ended their celebration. But they were too late, all the Devaronian citizens had been slaughtered, save one.
