Black Malice Squadron was founded by Proconsul Sashar Arconae following the [[Eighth Great Jedi War]], or the Yuuzhan Vong Incursion.  Black Malice is one of the most well known of the teams on the ''Shadow'', both for the important role it played in extracting Soulfire Squadron from Reecee and for flying well against House Galeres in the Feud. Commander Zilghar has high hopes for the future of the team.
