| | *Way back when, in the days of old, I was the Emissary and brought before the [[Consul]]s the discussion of the Clan Name Award - which eventually evolved into what it is today. Needless to say, I asked all of the Consuls to list what they would want their's to be for their respective clans. Arcona chose a different course from most, while others chose to basically use the surname of the clan as the title - Naga Sadow made Sadow (Son of/Daughter of) as theirs. Tarentum made theirs Tarentae, Taldryan's was Taldrya, Satal Keto's was Keto, Exar Kun was Kun. This has bothered me for a long time. How exactly did CSP get Palpatine out of Palatinae?
The Scholae Palatinae (literally "Palatine College"), also known as Palitini, was a scholae (military training school) of an elite troop of soldiers in the Roman army created by the Emperor Constantine the Great to provide personal protection of the Emperor and his immediate family. It led to the tradition of the Paladin.
I don't see any mention of Palpatine in there.... you guys would be Children of Military Soldiers :P
