Dark Side Adept is the thirteenth rank in the Dark Brotherhood. It is the lowest of the Elder class.

It is followed by Dark Jedi Master.

In the past, members were promoted to Dark Jedi Master upon appointment to a Dark Council position. This practice has been abolished.
