The idea is good, and maybe request member quote submissions - but I think the choosing should be left to the wiki staff. And the same could be said for featured articles. Currently only a handful of people nominate or support/object to articles. It would make more sense if the Wiki Staff did away with nominations (at least public) and created their own list of viable features - whether they be quotes or pages. Just a thought, seeing as the featured article nomination page only has 3 nominations, and two of them are all objected to :P --[[User:Shadow Taldrya|Shadow Taldrya]] 23:12, 15 October 2007 (MDT)
