Kamjin the Hutt

Kamjin the Hutt, which is not his real name, is a Hutt of questionable status and stature within the various criminal syndicates. Few know who he really is. What is known is that at some point in time he began an unhealthy obsession with Kamjin Lap'lamiz. He's done everything from change his name and the clothes he wears to attempt to pass himself off as the former Emperor of Clan Scholae Palatinae.

Republic Era

Kamjin the Hutt was born in 589 BBY and originally known as Kamja. While the Grand Hutt Council was celebrating the birth of Jabba the Hutt still from 600 BBY, an important heir to the Desilijic Tiure clan, Kamja's birth went unnoticed. No records have been found that definitively prove that Kamja was born into the Desilijic Tiure clan. The earliest recovered records show signs of tampering and with Jabba's death in 4 ABY and the fall of his palace on Tatooine means that few are able to recover any original records regarding Kamja one way or another.

Imperial Era

While his time during the Republic Era is lost, Kamja begins to appear during the Imperial era in Imperial reports of a master forger. Specifically in the creation of near perfect chain codes.

Kamja had gained access to official Imperial equipment which resulted in the produced chain codes being genuine in construction. Utilizing a growing group of gangsters, smugglers, bounty hunters, and criminals, Kamja was able to buy access into Imperial computer networks to flash official serial numbers onto the chain codes.

Kamja sold these codes primarily to the other Hutt Clans but also utilized it to parley influence with the fledging rebellion against the Empire. As with all Hutts, he played both sides against the other to protect himself. If an Imperial became to interested he may sell out a local Rebel cell or leak the Imperial's travel plans to a Rebel hit squad.
