Blarex is a midly schizophrenic[[1]] member of House Galeres and Clan Arcona
Personal History
Early Childhood
Blarex was born Han Framke in Coronet City, Corellia in 15 ABY into a middle-class merchant family. His father, Jorn Framke, a very vocal Corellian patriot, named his son after his idol Han Solo. Young Han was never able to live up to the legacy of his namesake, constantly under-performing in school in almost every subject.
For his tenth birthday, his father picked up a beat up old toy lightsaber. It immediately became the young child's favorite toy, even though it was old and beat up, it still looked and felt like a real laser sword to him. It had also come with a beat up old Flmisiplast instruction manual, however the language was an alien language neither the boy or his parents could read. He could not be separated from his toy, taking it everywhere, including school. His parents became increasingly concerned however as he began to speak to the toy as if it were real and was convinced that he could not let it out of his sight or someone would take it from him.
The mental issues came to a head when in 25 ABY an older student stole his favorite toy lightsaber, the bully didn't get far. Young Framke broke the older boys nose, left hand and fractured a rib. After this altercation his parents believed enrolling him in formal classes would teach him discipline and help him control his anger. They enrolled him in Dulon and he began seeing a psychiatrist, both in order to try and control his rage.
In the next three years, the young Corellian boy became somewhat of a local phenom in the martial arts scene, taking on two or three other students his level at a time.
Han's Dulon instructor mentioned to his parents one day that it seemed that the boy was not just reacting to his opponents but actually preemptively countering their moves. He suggested that the boy may have some level of Force sensativity and gave his parents contact info to the locally deployed Jedi. His parents were reluctant at first knowing the boys mental instability, but after speaking with other family about it, they dediced that the Jedi may be able to teach their son how to control his emotions.
The boy was taken to the local Jedi enclave in 28 ABY but his parents forced him to keep his toy lightsaber at home, this put the boy in a very fragile mental state for his evaluation. The Jedi did determine that the boy did have force aptitude, although not above the average youngling, it was enough to warrent Jedi training. However, Han failed all of the mental tests and was deemed too aggressive to be admitted to the Order. His parents pleaded that their son would benefit greatly from the teaching of the Jedi. They knew it could help to calm his emotions but the Jedi did not yield.
The failure of this day would haunt the young boy for years.
Adolescent Years
Han's failure with the Jedi sent him in a downward spiral and tromped his first stay in a mental institution. On his thirteenth birthday that year, the young man refused to come down from his room in the families Coronet apartment. When his mother went to check on him she found him staring intently at his toy lightsaber. He didn't react to her presence and wouldn't acknowledge that she was speaking with him. She sat there and observed that her son would only speak directly to the toy, however it was only short phrases such as "I understand" or "yes that makes sense". To her, it seemed as if her son were actually listening to his toy speak to him.
This obviously concerned her and upon placing a call to the school psychologist he had been seeing for the last three years. The man recommend that they place their son in the Coronet Hospital for Troubled Youths at least on a temporary basis. The boy was taken there with little incident and had a three month stay that ended in 29 ABY. When the boy returned home, he seemed like a changed young man. He kept his toy lightsaber but now it was in a glass case and on a shelf in his room. His anger seemed to have subsided and he began becoming even more skilled in his Dulon classes.
In 31 ABY, after years of both mental stability and utter domination in the Dulon circuit, the 16 year old Han was approached by a Kartranin instructor. The man introduced himself as Jin-She and told his prospective student that he was very impressed with his abilities and offered him free lessons. Seeing no need to gain permission from his parents to attend free lessons, he accepted. Like with Dulon, he was a incredibly fast learner and surpassed students that had been studying for years in just the matter of a few months.
Due in part to his mastery of the new form, his master took him in as his primary pupil and taught him the difficult art of Tu'rek. Taking these skills with his others to the martial arts tournaments, the now young man was unstoppable. He won every competition that he entered by a wide margin. He began to even attract a small following of fans and began to be approached by managers wanting to take him to the next level. One such man was Tranik Maltin of the Galactic City Sports Agency from Coruscant.
