In which case, the Rollmaster of Marka Ragnos shall lead the secondary Ravana Squadron until there is enough space in Ravana Squadron again, if this doesn’t happen, the Rollmaster shall be eventually replaced with a suitable replacement.

Ravana Squadron is the "proving grounds" of House Marka Ragnos. Upon arrival from the Shadow Academy, all new members are assigned to Ravana Squadron. Following the guidance laid out in the Promotion Trials, the mission of this team is to get members promoted to the rank of Guardian.
Upon leaving Ravana at their promotion to GRD, members have two choices. They either join the Night Hawks, or expand into the house on their own. The NH BTL will work as a standard BTL would, with weekly reports and attempts of contact with all his/her members. If they fail to do this to an acceptable standard, they will be removed and a replacement sought.
Upon reaching this rank, they will be transferred into the House at large, and may join the Avatars or Night Hawks.  Ravana Squadron is led by a Battleteam Leader, who may (if necessary or desired), appoint a Flight Leader / Assistant to run the team. (for reasons such as: maintaining contact with inactive members / controlling wiki pages)

Upon members coming out of Ravana at Guardian, they can join one of the two Battleteams, on their choice through emails sent out via the mailing lists. The Aedile and Rollmaster will supervise the separate Battleteams accordingly. Competition between the Battleteams has to be encouraged to enable higher activity count.
The Rollmaster of House Marka Ragnos will serve as a "Wing Commander" over both Ravana and the NH. While not a direct "command" relationship, the Rollmaster does have slight advisory powers over both Battleteams. The Battleteam leaders are expected to work with the Rollmaster to develop the members of both teams. The Rollmaster, in accordance with the Aedile, is also responsible to see that everything is being done in accordance with the Training Program.

The Aedile must request permission before removing BTLs, and it is recommended that the leader in question of removal be contacted with a plea of improving before action is taken upon him. The RM and AED should discuss the administration of the Program regularly.

Battleteam Leaders should keep a spreadsheet or chart, outlining what tasks each member of their team has completed. This program is outlined to help increase the retention of new members in House Marka Ragnos, as well as develop and train these members to become productive members of the Brotherhood.

Ravana Squadron

Ravana Squadron is always lead by the House Envoy of HMR. It is the basic training grounds of the House. After the immediate enlistment of the new member, starting with the typical ENV welcome email, the BTL will send regular emails to the member of the BT - outlining the rules, customs and activities in the House at large. As the member progresses, these emails will become longer, but less frequent. Those new members who are not active will be AWOLed out of the House. In the event that Ravana Squadron becomes too crowded and is eventually full when new members arrive, a second BT is to be opened to have the same training as Ravana, though this will only occur when the Ravana is full and people cannot be AWOLed to make room. In which case, the Rollmaster of Marka Ragnos shall lead the secondary Ravana Squadron until there is enough space in Ravana Squadron again, if this doesn’t happen, the Rollmaster shall be eventually replaced with a suitable replacement.

Night Hawks

Upon leaving Ravana at their promotion to GRD, members have two choices. They either join the Night Hawks, or expand into the house on their own. The NH BTL will work as a standard BTL would, with weekly reports and attempts of contact with all his/her members. If they fail to do this to an acceptable standard, they will be removed and a replacement sought.

Rollmaster

The Rollmaster of House Marka Ragnos will serve as a "Wing Commander" over both Ravana and the NH. While not a direct "command" relationship, the Rollmaster does have slight advisory powers over both Battleteams. The Battleteam leaders are expected to work with the Rollmaster to develop the members of both teams. The Rollmaster, in accordance with the Aedile, is also responsible to see that everything is being done in accordance with the Training Program.

Aedile

The Aedile works similarly to the RM, over viewing the BTL's and ensuring that the Training Program is being enforced. The Aedile must request permission before removing BTLs, and it is recommended that the leader in question of removal be contacted with a plea of improving before action is taken upon him. The RM and AED should discuss the administration of the Program regularly.

Training Expectations

Apprentices and Acolytes alike, should be emailed by their respective Battleteam Leader (Ccing RM, AED & QUA), as soon as they are assigned to the Battleteam:

  • Apprentices should be emailed every other day, until they complete their promotion requirements.
  • Novices should be emailed every three days, until they complete their promotion requirements.
  • Acolytes should be emailed every five days, until they complete their promotion requirements.
  • Protectors should be emailed every ten days, until they complete their promotion requirements.
  • The Aedile should assign every new APP to Ravana Squadron.
  • The Quaestor should email every member when they are promoted to Guardian, and remove them from Ravana Squadron.

Battleteam Leaders should keep a spreadsheet or chart, outlining what tasks each member of their team has completed. This should be transfered from Ravana to Avatars along with the member, so that each BTL knows exactly what has and hasn't been done, and what is still available. These lists should be included in the weekly reports, so that all of the leadership can archive them as well.
