| Using his place on the Ubiqtorate, Evant lured the Dark Jedi Master onboard the Lictor-class dungeon ship ''Lictor V'', used by the Intelligence Division to imprison Jedi Knights. The fallen Jedi Master was in such a rage, he had no realization of the venue in which he now placed his battle. Evant lured Visson on a chase throughout the ship, eventually trapping him in a cell. All records of what happened in that cell and the former Jedi Master are wiped from Imperial records.

The full training took over two full years to complete while in the end ranking near the top of his class and was assigned to a training as a pilot taking the final steps towards fulfilling his childhood dream.
Vampire Squadron
His first assignment was flying a TIE/IN interceptor in Vampire Squadron of the ’’Imperial II class’’ Star Destroyer ‘’Pestilent’’. However, as the Imperial Remnant remained neutral in the conflict with the Yuuzhan Vong his ship operated inside Imperial Space on internal affairs.
These limited combat engagements gave Evant the time and real world training required to gain confidence as an ace pilot. Consistently performing tasks with great success saw him quickly elevated to the position of executive officer. He was a natural in his new leadership position and quickly the successes of his squadron became well known in the rest of the fleet.
Bane Squadron
In 28 ABY, the Battle of Bastion destroyed the Imperial capital of Bastion and pulled the Imperial Remnant into the conflict with the Yuuzhan Vong. The ‘’Pestilent’’ was called into participate in the Battle of Borosk, and Evant promoted to Commander and assigned as the commanding officer of Bane Squadron, set to fly and lead a squadron of TIE Defenders in the coming battle.
His performance in the battle was exemplary and saw him greatly rewarded for his efforts in the battle. Following the ‘’Pestilent’’ was reassigned in support of the newly formed Galactic Alliance where he continued to see action in the conflict against the Vong.
The biggest rewards came following the Second Battle of Coruscant, where the “Pestilent” engaged the Yuuzhan Vong fleet above Coruscant as part of the Galactic Alliance Defense Fleet. Present on the conflict were countless Jedi and commanders who took note of not just his raw talents as an ace pilot, but in his connection to the Force.

Visiting a bar to check in with several of his contacts, desperate to cling to what power he still held in the galaxy, he ran into Warlord Thran Occasus who immediately recognized his connection to the Force and approached him. The two drank heavily discussing their own pasts and philosophies on life. As a result of the actions that night, he chose to accompany the Warlord back and into service of House Scholae Palatinae.
Immediately thrust into battle as the House was engaged in an invasion, the Dark Jedi Knight quickly found opportunities to prove himself. Upon the combined forces returning to Cocytus System he was given command of his own squadron of TIE Defenders. With his successful time in command in the past, he was given control of one of the two Battleteams as well, as Commander of the storied Caliburnus.

Evant Taelyan is a human male from the planet of Etti IV. He is short for a human at only 1.75 meters (5 foot 7 inches) and is much smaller as well weighing only 56.7 kilograms (125 pounds) making him under normal weight as well. Few would recognize his small stature however under his hooded robes, however when removed he wears his armor tight and close to his body size for comfort. He wears around his neck but tucked tightly to his body, a deep red charm on a brilliant silver chain in memory of his lost master. His face looks very young, hardly touched by the years of combat he had seen, but it all set in his dark blue eyes that looked almost black in all but the bright daylight. He wore his dirty blonde hair an inch or two long and mussed with little regard for it.
Personality and Traits
Evant Taelyan is incredibly intelligent, thinking and learning as a level much higher than most of his peers. He often sees more than most other people will see, and looks ahead of a current situation he is in to start identifying possibilities and seek the best outcome. However, because of this he often ends up looking down on most others he meets due to their own lack of intelligence and has no patience for their ignorance. He can quickly become frustrated at others who can't keep up and move forward on his own.
Due to his intuition around people, and high intelligence, he is very good at manipulating relationships and maximizing them to his benefit. Combined with his skills gained during his time in the Intelligence Division, this has become incredibly beneficial as a way to gather information on people, and with that information gain power. He finds immense happiness in having controlling power over other people and does so at any opportunity.
Physically he does not have much power and muscle on his small frame, and isn't very durable in a long term fight relying on his own mastery of the force and agile small frame and balance in combat situations he lacked foresight to avoid it altogether.
