Character History
Socorra is from the Bharhulai, a tribe of savage desert nomads of the Black Sands of Socorro. In late adolescence she became a member of the Black Bha’lir smuggler's society and honored its strict code of ethics with dignity and great pride for many years. Over time she earned the rank of Master Smuggler and the prestige of an information broker, having fulfilled apprenticeship in everything except smuggling.
Character Description
Socorra is a bronze-skinned beauty with a lithe and athletic feminine frame. Her eyes are pale azure and her dark mane freely reaches her hips. She wears traditional and ceremonial Krath vestments encompassed within a dark cloak. She speaks Basic, Socorran, and Old Corellian fluently and has retained her deep accent over the years, her voice itself a high alto. Having shed her birth name of "Nim Naja", she now goes only by "Socorra" which translates to “scorched earth” in Old Corellian.
Once a savage desert nomad, the young girl had barely a notion of what the galaxy was and what it held. But through her desert trials, the training with the Ibhaan’I shaman, and her years of dedication to the Black Bha’lir, Socorra has long since dedicated her life to knowing and mastering everything possible. An outcast from her people and in society in general, she is rather awkward, sometimes terribly blunt, and anything but suave. But she can adapt very quickly to her environments if she chooses to.
Having been trained by a failed Jedi in adolescence she has a decent affinity for the Force and uses this to her advantage in every situation, regardless how small the benefit may be. She has continued learning and practicing her Force skills in the Brotherhood and certainly uses the Dark Side to her advantage as she finds the Light and its followers to be a complete waste of time.
